Is it written to pay your tax? They were asking: “is it legal TO pay the tribute to”? They weren't asking if they could not pay it, or if it was lawful to NOT pay it. Being that it had the image of a god (Caesar on it), the “image” of a god, there were some Jews who didn't think it lawful even to use that pagan currency. The question was: is it…[Read more]

Even I understand the fallacy with that last post. This isn't what evolutionarianists 🙂 believe. They don't believe that the species we evolved from exists (because we evolved into it). They believe we had a common ancestor with that species perhaps, but don't believe we evolved from a species that still exists. We need stu here to point this…[Read more]

Quote I disagree with the teaching of t8 and others though I converse with those Jehovah chooses to put in front of me to converse with.–kerwinDoes this mean that t8 is a false teacher (because he teaches things that are false in your opinion)?Or, is he a true teacher (and yet teaches false things)?

But Jesus made no reply, not even to a single charge–to the great amazement of the governor.

T8 can do as he wants. It's his play ground and his rules. But, there does seem to be reason sometimes to not answer. (Yes, it's almost always when you have no good answer and can't explain your beliefs. And yet:)”He plied him with many questions, but Jesus gave him no answer.”

Quote I know of no one qualified to teach that is on this boardI feel you and I have very different ideas about what teachers are. Do you feel schooling is involved? The apostles were “untaught and ordinary” from the viewpoint of the Pharisees.

Quote David,I believe what I write is true. Â I do not believe I am a teacher;especially as we are warned to be careful of just that. Â Saying you aren't a teacher doesn't make you not a teacher. Â Talking to people about the bible and teaching what you believe is true makes you a teacher.
