Quote I think Kathi, the best arguement is not to seperate the Father and the Son, they are always mentioned togethor,That's so true. In fact I wonder why they even have separate names. Oh, wait, because they aren't the same person, and that would be confusing. As it turn out, “Jehovah” is mentioned about 7000 times without the “Son” or “Jesus”…[Read more]

What I think this comes down to is, the argument is that when it says “Jehovah” it actually means Jehovah including Jesus, his Son.

continued….Although it was a common thing for the Jews to bow before authority to show respect, Mordecai refused to bow before Haman. Quote Afraid that you might see that nearly every incident that proskuneo is given to Jesus there was a supernatural event either just beforehand or asked of Him to perform? As we know, proskyneo (to bow down, to do obeisance, to worship) is used in a number of different ways.Sitting and prostrating. Sitting was another posture employed in prayer,…[Read more]

I am so frustrated thinking about the universe as a whole. I think everyone pictures it as a ball spreading out into space, but of course, the universe is the only space that exists. So does it have an edge? Obviously not. But neither is it infinite in size. No edge or wall to run into, but also not infinite in size. Tricky. Then we have…[Read more]

In the Nicene Creed, Jesus is called the “Son of” God.But LU, you seem to try to be proving that he is the “God of” God.Yet your creed states that he is the Son of God.You want to prove that he is the God of God.I still think you are using obscure phrasing to try to prove something: “very God of very God.”(It is confusing.)
