Here’s a good one on sleep.
Lack of sleep blights pupils’ education

Princess. Television is non existent in your home – cool.
We have a TV, but only my son watches it, once he is in bed it is OFF. I am a creature of habit.
Like you, I prefer thought and reading.
Bless you (:

We should all give thanks for whatever position we are put in. For some high positions and for others low positions. Arrogance and pride is what drives us to feel entitled to things that we do not deserve.

I just started a book called The River of Fire – Kalomiros, by ALEXANDRE KALOMIROS. Written for Eastern Orthodox Christianity.
And it’s really good (so far).
Here’s the beginning:
“There is no doubt that we are living in the age of apostasy predicted for the last days. In practice, most people are atheists, although many of them theoretically…[Read more]

Bod, where do you believe Jesus is now?

I agree Kerwin, thanks.

I personally believe that Paul is fine and a true apostle, though I have tested what he wrote, and we are allowed to do that.
The problem is with today’s audience who twist what he says, takes him out of context, or misunderstands him.
Paul should never be read imo until Jesus and the disciples are understood.

I’ve never heard that one before Kerwin.
If anyone can answer: Where do you believe Jesus is now. Completely in heaven or here in spirit or both?

Nick, I am not judging either way. But, I certainly would not judge another person’s faith based on their adherence to Paul!

I think many of us lose a spark over time and due to experiences. How do we get it back?
Camillia replied to the topic Trinity and Woman in the forum Other Faiths 9 years, 11 months ago
there are a lot of Paul’s in this day and age. there is no judgment, just no spark. ecclesiastics is one of the most smallest books of the bible and it gives all kind of sound and vibration.
I know what you are saying, Princess.

I do not think following Paul’s words are as important as following Jesus’ words……….I guess with Paul it is matter of understanding him or misunderstanding him, as Peter said. Still:
34 “Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the wor…

Cam,
Even some people who label themselves Christian on this web site believe Jesus is body of God’s body.
Kerwin,
Do you mean Jesus body is believed by some to be God’s body, like God Himself was on Earth in a body?Camillia replied to the topic Bloodless atonement in the forum Faith 9 years, 11 months ago
Yes, we agree he is like Adam and although the Gospels call Adam the son of God as well, we know that God created Adam so He is Adam’s Creator not his literal Father
Yes, Bod, we agree on that.
But what does Islam say Jesus was?
