Actually , yes, God does do that. The Bible says that God is omnipresent. Also, I believe I asked you some questions earlier. So now it is your turn. The Bible says that Christ is our Savior. Are you saying that someone other than God can save us? Also, I have brought up passages Trinitarians refer to. Now, since you feel they do not. Th…[Read more]

Nick, you asked me what I thought the passage meant and I told you. If you cannot be respectful of my replies, do not ask. If you object to what I have to day, then present your counter-argument, which you have yet to do.

“Returning to Father’ means gong back onto the state he was in previous to his incarnation in the Christ event.

I already showed you , Nick, why the Trinity is sound biblical teachings. Before we go any further, you need to show some evidence to support your outrageous claims that there is no Trinity. Well, where is it? All you’ve done so far is hurl insults and Trinitarians and provided not one shred of biblical evidence in support of your theory.

Ask yourself teh same question, Nick. Do we have to trust your personal implications? I sure don’t. As I just pointed out, Jesus and teh Apostles teach that Christ is the Savior, and only God can save. Now, according to you, the Trinity is a big lie, so then Christ isn’t God, and then Christ can’t be the Savior, and then the questions rema…[Read more]

If yu want to put it that way, Nick, then my answer is yes.

Nick, we are here to discuss the Trinity. These and most other of your recent posts are way, way off topic.
hoghead1 replied to the topic in the forum The Trinity Doctrine 8 years, 6 months ago
As well, Jesus and the Apostles also provide very different account of the Trinity from what you have to say, Nick.

Well, again, we are getting off topic, Kerwin. however, I think it is n unusually cruel and actually unbiblical idea that our children should pay for our sins. I realize certain biblical passages claim that, whereas others deny it. A famous biblical contradiction. I believe God is loving and therefore I do not believe does mean and unfair thi…[Read more]

I already provided more than one biblical passage, Nick. Yes, “implied” is the right word here. I have explained before why. I am not going to repeat myself again.
hoghead1 replied to the topic The true meaning of the word ‘God’ – The Trinity Doctrine in the forum Inspirational writings & sermons 8 years, 6 months ago
Well, Nick, the same applies to you and your pet theories as well.
hoghead1 replied to the topic The Trinity Doctrine is an unnecessary stumbling block in the forum Truth or Tradition 8 years, 6 months ago
I see it out there in plain biblical print, Nick. Remember, Christ is the Savior, and only God can truly save. Certainly God’s Spirit is God. Obviously teh Farther is God. It’s that simple. This doesn’t require any sort of reading between the lines.

Look, Gene, this post is entirely uncalled for and precisely what I have been complaining to you about. It is poorly and carelessly written and it is essentially some sort of unnecessary personal attack on me. I do not respond to posts of this nature. If you want me to take you seriously and respond, you definitely need to tone it down. H…[Read more]

I’m not sure I quite follow you logic here, Kevin. I can’t follow whether you are claiming God did not did not remit David’s punishment. According to Scripture, God did; otherwise, via the law, David would have been put to death for his actions with Basheeba. Granted, forgiveness means more than just remission of punishment, but it does mea…[Read more]

However, I’m no going to go and read through a host of previous comments you have posted. I just don’t have the time for that. If you maybe feel I haven’t been responding to cert…[Read more]

In teh Christian mystical tradition, Marty, “things unseen” refers to the fact that God is encountered on a level of awareness or consciousness deep beneath thought, sense, or the more specialized forms of conscious knowing.

I have already done that, Nick. Also, let me remind you that this is a discussion o the Trinity, and that the Trinitarian doctrines are essentially extra-biblical formulations applied to providing a coherent metaphysic of the Trinity. If you want to deal meaningfully with Trinity, you have to deal wit it both on a biblical level and also on…[Read more]

I think the Trinity may “beat” you , Marty, simply because you fail to bear in mind that it is claiming there are three, not one, but three entities involved here: The Father, the Son, and the Spirit. Each of these is taken to be God, or, more specifically, a key dimension of one God. That is based on the fact that Scripture does in fact…[Read more]

Nick, I did not say that no verses teach about the Trinity. Quite the contrary. I would appreciate it if you would read carefully teh comments I post.

As I said earlier, Nick, you did a wee bit more than just talk about that. You made some highly insensitive remarks abut Trinitarians.
