I don't let the Trinity affect my beliefs. I was trying to prove it exists. I believe that to be in the family of God, one must 1. Keep the Commandments and 2. Believe in Jesus as Savior.Do you still think that I'm wrong, my friend?

I don't think that it's required for Salvation but belief in God, is. Let me shed light on my belief. Obtaining Salvation is two-fold: Old Testament: Keeping Commandments and New Testament: Believing in Christ as Savior.

The “third person” whom you refer to is the Holy Spirit. My thought is that he surrounds the Father and the Son and is the essence of life.

I do believe in the trinity but that all three: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are one, as well.
