heiscomingintheclouds,I never said water baptism saves anyone. I don't often agree with Billy Graham but I agree with him on one statement he made a few years back at a convention he had. He said, “There are a lot of baptized pagans in Christendom.” I agree with him 100%. I will now give you an example of what I’m talking about. There was this C…[Read more]

Quote (heiscomingintheclouds @ July 06 2006,23:40)Water baptism is symbolism. Period. It should be done. Period. Will a man lose his salvation if he does not have water baptism? That is for God to decide. Period. Now brother I will agree with this state 200%

Quote (heiscomingintheclouds @ July 06 2006,23:35)I am disappointed in you Woutlaw. I pray the Lord open your eyes and heart. It is the blood of Christ that saves a man. It is the blood of Christ that washes away our sins. Water baptism does not save us.according to 1john 5:7 or 8 depending on the version of the bible you have, it says that there…[Read more]

My brothers, I pray that we let the scriptures and the Holy Spirit lead us instead of crafty false teachers.Heiscominginthecloud,You quoted Acts 22:16 as a spirit baptism and not a water baptism. OK I have a question for you, Why would he have to ARISE and be baptized? You don't have to get up to be spirit baptized do you?Acts 9:18 is also an…[Read more]

hey Guys,Look closer @ Acts 16:3333 At that hour of the night the jailer took them and washed their wounds; then immediately he and all his family were baptized. The jailer washed their wounds, so that implies that water was present!!!!!!!!

Brothers, I don't think there are any grey areas with God. Again, with the example I gave earlier with Aaron and his sons. God commanded them to wash before they could enter the tabernacle to minister for him(GOD). If they refused to wash they would have died PERIOD. So what they were priests, so what they were jews, folks God isn't a respecter of…[Read more]

heiscomingintheclouds,Yes my friend, It is not our place to tell people where they are going. That's not our role. I don't care if you're a trinitarian, binitarian, Oneness, heck I don't care if you believe bobo the chimp is your God, where you go after you die is between you and the Lord. How ever the bible does make it clear that we must teach…[Read more]

heiscomingintheclouds,Also 1 John 5:8 says8And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. We both know what the spirit refers to, The Holy Spirit. We both know that the blood refers to the blood of the lamb, Christ. What does the water refer too????

Quote (t8 @ July 04 2006,03:43)John prepared the way for the messiah. His was a baptism of repentance. After this the people were to be baptised into Christ.Repentance came first. Quote (seminarian @ July 04 2006,15:12)Hey Nick & k4c,I know some members of the Way, (Biblical unitarians), also believe water baptism is obsolete. Theyalso don't believe Christ pre-existed with his Father in heaven but only had his “beginning” in the womb of Mary. Just like when I tell people I don't believe in the trinity, they accuse me of b…[Read more]

Quote (heiscomingintheclouds @ July 04 2006,13:15)The water baptism is telling the world, I am a new creature in Christ. I have been saved. And just as it says in Peter, it is a good conscience towards God. When we are born again, there is something that happens on the inside between the man and God and the world cannot see. When you recieve the…[Read more]

good point Nick,I think some don't want to see the truth, and others see the folly of the Trinity and Oneness doctrines(I include Oneness because it's just as big a lie as the Trinity)but are scared to question it. They are told that it is essential to their salvation. But the bible says not such thing.

Brakah isn't a person, its hebrew for blessings. This response to Acts 20:28 and the other one on John 8:58 are part of an ongoing debate i'm having with an elder in a Oneness Pentecostal Church I used to attend. I thought I would post these to possibly help someone else.

The KJV isn't perfect,It isn't even a new translation. It is just a mere revision of the Bishop's bible. I use it primarily because of the Strong's features. But it isn't perfect. I think it is for the most part a well balanced translation. Just my 2 cents
