If you view the two as separate, I will not quarrel with you.  The purpose of this thread is to determine whether slavery, including the kind where owners can beat their slaves to death, is inoffensive to the “law of the Spirit”.  As someone who is presumably lead by the “law of the Spirit”, you should know.  Do you?
