Quote (Nick Hassan @ Jan. 03 2008,14:29)Hi tow, How can they think he was a liar when they did not grasp the meaning? Indeed many left him because they did not understand him but the remnant remained by faith.John must have lacked spiritual discernment as well then:Luk 7:20 And when the men had come to him, they said, “John the Baptist has sent…[Read more]

Luk 9:22 Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.Seriously Nick, you don't have to be “spirtually discerning” to understand this. At this point you are saying that the disciples had the IQ of a turnip.

Show me where the King Messiah was to be the biological son of G-d according to Tanakh, and that he was to be the “bread of life”. Since you can't prove his Messiahship according to Tanakh, maybe you can prove this part of his supposed “mission”.

Show me second coming of the King Messiah in Tanakh. Stop with the empty excuses.

What ARE you talking about? Which verse? Num 18:22? You can check out the various translations here. All say the same thing with slightly different wording: forever.

Leave it to Nick to run short on answers but heavy on excuses and apologetics.

No, but that is not proof of what you are trying to bring forth.

As usual, no real refution, just more hollow excuses.Typical and expected.

So they thought Jesus lied?
Towshab replied to the topic The Torah too hard to fulfill? in the forum Doctrinal Disagreements 16 years, 8 months ago
Nick,You certainly struggle with interpretation. Anyone can see this passage refers to the length of service of each individual, not the perpetual state of the Levitical priesthood.Shall I hold out straws so you may grasp for them?

Dan 7:14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. This is supposed to be Jesus? Oh, thanks, you just gave me another prophecy that he does not match.…[Read more]

Luk 9:22 Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.I dunno, seems pretty straightforward to me Nick. What's hard to understand there?
Towshab replied to the topic The Real King Messiah in the forum Doctrinal Disagreements 16 years, 8 months ago
Still no proof Nick, all flowery false faith.

I would not consider 1900 years later as “tomorrow”.

Sorry, but you said G-d, not Jesus. So even you agree Jesus did not have the authority because you cannot provide a single shred of evidence that G-d said He would give the authority to another.

Here is proof against the lie found in the GT:Num 18:23 But the Levites shall do the service of the Tent of Meeting, and they shall bear their iniquity: it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations; and among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance.Your GT cannot be about YHVH because if so, it just turned Him into a liar.
