Quote (david @ Jan. 03 2008,21:02)The ones who wrote the Christians scriptures at the very least, BELIEVED what they were writing, (like the suicide bombers believed they were right and correct in their actions)Were myths and legends introduced after the original writing was completed? We have already seen that the text of the Christian Greek…[Read more]

Quote (david @ Jan. 03 2008,20:52)The apostle Paul, speaking of those who witnessed the resurrection of Jesus, said: “Most of remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep in death.”—1 Corinthians 15:6.??

Ooops, wrong again. Monster truck rallies did not cause millions of Jewish deaths at the hands of Christians. My bad.

Quote (Nick Hassan @ Jan. 03 2008,20:27)Hi tow, Not so. The harmony is mindboggling. You should listen to the great physician who told you man cannot live on bread alone. And you need the Spirit of God . God gives the Spirit to those who ask. Then show me the harmony. You claim to lead people to truth, lets see it.

Quote (david @ Jan. 03 2008,20:55)“It can have been by no means so easy as some writers seem to think to invent words and deeds of Jesus in those early years, when so many of His disciples were about, who could remember what had and had not happened. . . . Because Christianity claims that YHVH fathered Jesus. Lave YHVH out of the adulterous relationship and I will leave you alone.

David, suicide bombers die for their religion too. Bad example.

Or in your case let the OT be used only when it can obliquely lead to a belief in Jesus. The rest of the time it is old and worn out, to be discarded and replaced by the new.New wine is better right Nick?Enjoy your Boone's Farms Strawberry Hill.

Quote (Nick Hassan @ Jan. 03 2008,20:13)Hi tow,Why give you more chances to diminish and damage the Word of God?I just smiled. You are getting closer to the truth Nick. You know that you cannot refute what I write and you know I will demolish your god's writings in the GT using Tanakh. Keep it up, the truth will come to you too.
Towshab replied to the topic Confused in the forum Faith 16 years, 8 months ago
Yes, but faith in fiction is wasted faith. I do not have faith that dental floss will be an adequate rope to tow a car with, neither do I have faith in a false messiah who does not match messianic passages from Tanakh.

You are right because the NT contradicts and conflicts with Tanakh. If the pharmacist tells me to not take two different medications at the same time because they could cause me harm taken together, should I ignore his knowledge and go by blind faith? The Tanakh and the GT do not mix well. They oppose each other.

So the OT is to be thrown in the garbage then?
Towshab replied to the topic The Real King Messiah in the forum Doctrinal Disagreements 16 years, 8 months ago
Same old Nick, all philosophy and strange ramblings, no scriptural proof.
Towshab replied to the topic The Torah too hard to fulfill? in the forum Doctrinal Disagreements 16 years, 8 months ago
So you have no proof that Zech 6 and Eze 40-44 take place during your supposed 1000 year reign. None.

Quote (Nick Hassan @ Jan. 03 2008,19:53)Hi tow, The line of faith stretches from Abraham to now. The lines of religion, phariseeism and legalism are useless dead ends. Then show the line Nick. You can't. You just repeat the same old boring philosophy over and over.

Yawn. Same old philosophy never a word of proof.
Towshab replied to the topic Jesus#39; Resurrection in the forum Faith 16 years, 8 months ago
But if you are not blind but truly led, why can you not show me where Jesus is foretold as the King Messiah in Tanakh? You just rehash the same idea using different words, but never provide one shred of evidence for people to believe if they have knowledge of Tanakh.
