Wow Nick. I can understand getting really involved in a debate, but you beligerance is just astounding. What sort of person sets up a forum and then harasses the people who visit like this?

Ken,You say, “God is the Spirit, the Holy Spirit.” Wow. This makes me very happy. You agree that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are God. Hallelujah! So, what's keeping you from joining the church?Tim

Of course. And of course if He is God, He is God. John 20:28.

Jesus is the captain of our salvation? Actually it says He is our Saviour. Titus 1:4, 2:13. That last one says He's God too. I guess it's time to erase all the stuff on this site about Him not being God, now that we've discovered this verse.

Quote (Nick Hassan @ April 20 2007,10:04)Hi Tim2 You say”. Remember that the Bible says that three persons are God.” Where is this statement?Surely you would not take three statements and make one composite one out of them and expect it to compare with even ONE VERSE from the mouth of God?Get serious.John 17:3John 1:1Acts 5:4

Nick and Not3,This forum is about discussing the truth of God. Since we don't all agree that means some of us believe lies. That's sin, and sin so powerful that it turns your supposed faith into belief in a false Jesus, one who isn't God and who therefore will be of no benefit of you. If I let you continue in error without warning you that you…[Read more]

You haven't used quotation marks, but you always say my position is that Jesus is His own Father, even though I've denied it a thousand times. Why don't you just stop doing that because you know it's not what I believe?
Tim2 replied to the topic Monogenes in the forum Scriptural Teachings 17 years, 7 months ago
Hi Nick,1. Stop pretending that God is one person, and the confusion goes away.2. Remember that a son always has the same nature as the father. (e.g. The Son of Man is man.)3. Remember that God is not divided nor multiplied.4. Remember that the Bible says that three persons are God.5. Then it makes sense. The one God exists eternally in…[Read more]

Adam,Exodus 4:16: “You shall be as God to him.”Exodus 7:1: “See, I make you God to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron shall be your prophet.”Both are statements that Moses is the representative of God to Aaron and Pharaoh. They are not statements that he is God. Jesus is called God without qualification because He is God. You believe that Jesus…[Read more]

Nick,The Bible says He is God. You don't believe the Bible? You're going to apply your false logic to make the Bible contradict itself?Tim

Ok I'm annoyed by Nick so I'm going to post here. t8, Heaven, whoever, feel free to listen or whatever.Nick accuses me of misquoting him. I apologize and then ask that he not misquote me, which he does every time he says I say, “Jesus is His own Father.” Instead of agreeing not to misquote me, Nick again implies that I believe this. This is…[Read more]

Not3,I stated the Trinity doctrine on another forum but you said it wasn't relevant. Here it is again:There is only one God. Deuteronomy 4:35.The Father is God. John 17:3.The Son is God. John 1:1.The Holy Spirit is God. Acts 5:4.Tim

Nick,You're an Admin for this site, right? So you should have some decency then, right? Why then, after I reach out to you, saying, let's not misquote each other, do you imply once again that I believe the Father is the Son. I don't believe that. Stop avoiding the real issue of the Trinity by attacking modalism. And please show some decency…[Read more]

Well this is just absurd. The entire doctrine of the Trinity is that the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God, yet they are not three gods but one God. I posted a question asking anyone to disprove any of these points from Scripture, and what response do I get:Not3in1: “this question wouldn't do any justice to the topic of…[Read more]

Nick,Well I just proposed on another thread that we stop misquoting each other, ok? I believe Jesus is Lord. This is because I believe that Jesus is YHWH. Jesus = YHWH = Lord. Tim

Nick,Sorry I misquoted you. I guess I was just mad from all the times you quoted me as saying that Jesus is His Father. Let's agree to stop doing that, ok?Tim
