Hi Nick, it clarifies that Scripture you quoted a lot to realise that it was Jesus who spoke those words, as the Son of God.Phi 2:5 For let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, Phi 2:6 who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God, Phi 2:7 but made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Himself the…[Read more]

I think we both have a very different understanding of the word trinity Nick.I have no doubt about my relationship with God, not only because His peace reigns in my heart, but also because of signs and wonders following. The warmth and beauty of God's love is such that it reduces me to tears, as described on my page http://www.all4god.netHow can you…[Read more]

Nick, of course the Word of God is a being. And He is still called the Word of God today. I have at no stage denied the Word being someone rather than something. Hence my point about prophecy being living. I would never say that I understand God totally. That would be foolishness, but one thing I do understand is that He is greater than we…[Read more]

Which Bible is the “true” Bible and the Word of God?Hi RobynCan you show me in Scripture please where the Bible is called the Word of God? The truth is that it is totally unscriptural. There is one Word (lo…[Read more]

Yeah, I can agree with you to a point Nick. The difference is that in the beginning the Word was not the Son of God, but was God. Think of it this way. A prophesy is living, that's why it bears fruit. In a respect the Word was prophecy and that's why creation happened. YHWH spoke and the Word went forth from Him to create. The Word later…[Read more]

What's wrong with answering the question Nick?I have no problems with Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

I am familiar with that verse Nick, but what does it have to do with who created everything?

Perhaps I should explain that this event actually happened about half an hour before I posted that poem. It's not made up, it's what actually happened with a JW that knocked on my door.

  • Profile picture of Oxy

so what's your point Nick? My understanding of what you said is that God will not tell us to do anything that isn't in the Scriptures. Is that correct?

  • Profile picture of Oxy

Good grief Alan, are you a JW by any chance? This poem obviously isn't aimed at Jesus, but was aimed at a man who was perhaps like the pharisees in that his religion meant more to him than a relationship with God.Jesus had/has that relationship as shown in Scripture, so let's not be silly about this.. k?

Yep, I agree that we worship the Father. But how should we respond to Him who is King of kings and Lord of lords?
