Meerkat,Yes, take a few years (I took nearly 5).But my encouragement will sound a bit different than Nick's: Do not lose faith in God (it's okay if you lose faith in books, imo).

I've heard this said a couple times by a two different members: “The God of the Bible.”Hmmmm For some reason this doesn't settle with me. I can't put my finger on it, but it just doesn't sound right.

Meerkat,If it wasn't for HeavenNet, I probably would have been tons more frustrated during my Trinity search.I have logged many hours here – reading back posts and generally putting in time with various believers. Nick,I absolutely agree that we should walk with care. We can lose our reward, and that would be a bummer. But to fear losing our guaranteed deposit is another fear that should be abandoned if we love Christ, and hope in God.
