That passage is so beautiful, isn't it? Well, clearly if the sons of God (angels) were there – they didn't help in any way with creation. Which was our original thread….and that was……if Jesus was there as a carpenter of sorts, helping “build” creation.

Forgive me, but are you saying that all Mary contributed was the “body prepared for him.” In other words, she wasn't a mother to him in the “natural” way? She did not contribute chromosomes?

I think there are two different births being spoke of in this passage (my opinion). Our lowly births, and the One who was (literally) born of God. One speaks of us, the other of Christ. We continue to sin, and Christ is the one who can keep us safe, so the evil one will not win us over.
