Quote (Nick Hassan @ July 14 2007,19:38)Hi not3, Do you not mean conceived?Of course one has to be conceived before they are born. I just figured that some things could be implied between you and I – considering our lengthly intercourse on this topic.

Quote (Nick Hassan @ July 14 2007,08:09)Hi KJ, Was he born with advantages over us?Can we follow him if so?Your previous post to this one has answered your own question!Yes – Jesus was born with advantages over us – he is the Son of God (literally). This is a clear advantage over common man.We will be adopted.Jesus already belongs.

Quote (Nick Hassan @ July 14 2007,16:34)Hi not3, Adam was truly a son of God, but had no DIVINITY. The sonship of Jesus goes back to the beginning.Adam was created.Jesus was BORN of incoruptable SEED.

Quote (Nick Hassan @ July 14 2007,16:31)Hi not3, Speaking of the divinity of Jesus takes you back to your trinitarian roots. If you want other gods fine. But the fullness of deity was IN, not AS, the son of God.Col2″9For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form,”Again, some non-Trinitarians speak too lowly of our Son of God and…[Read more]

Quote (Nick Hassan @ July 14 2007,16:23)Hi not3, Are they human genes? Yes? Like Adam's? Yes. Yep just a man. Would you prefer he was a god or something inbetween.God is not a man. God does not have human genes.Since you asked, I would prefer that Jesus be allowed to be who the scriptures say he is: The SON of God.

Quote (Nick Hassan @ Mar. 24 2007,08:02)Hi not3, I believe that God has made it plain in scripture that Christ was a man exactly like us so we have no excuses and can follow him. He is truly SON OF MAN. But he is also revealed as a being through whom God created the world. So ANY advantages that he had must have been shed before he partook of…[Read more]

Quote (Nick Hassan @ July 13 2007,15:05)Hi,Jesus was conceived in Mary and the same word is used of the conception of John the baptist.Jesus is the Son of man, a man.So Mary's faulty genes through Adam contributed as well as perfect new genes from God. So as a man he was like us and damaged and vulnerable and weak in all the ways we are. The…[Read more]

Quote (Nick Hassan @ July 14 2007,15:51)Hi not3, My opinion is irrelevant. Scripture repeatedly calls Jesus a man. 1Tim 2″5For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; We should believe ScriptureI, for one, enjoy your opinion. Quote (Nick Hassan @ July 14 2007,11:48)Hi not3, Do you think conception by the Spoirit did not produce a normal man? You have been trying to conserve the true meaning of conception and now you blow it away.
Nick, seriously, do you believe that a “true” conception involving GOD ALMIGHTY would “produce” a mere man?You say that you believe in a…[Read more]Not3in1 replied to the topic The Word and the Light in the forum Inspirational writings & sermons 19 years ago
The “seed of Abraham” will be adopted.Jesus was born a son of God (not only was he born a son of God – he is the ONLY biological son of God). Jesus is not adopted.Ponder, ponder…………if Jesus wasn't a biological kid of God, he would need to be adopted, wouldn't he? No such thing is ever said of Jesus.

Quote (Nick Hassan @ July 14 2007,08:08)Hi not3, Scripture says he is a man and we should not argue with scripture. HmmmmA preexistent son who had “come from heaven” as such, cannot be merely a MAN.I believe that both of our theories are flawed to some degree.

Quote (Nick Hassan @ July 13 2007,23:19)Hi not3, You too want to make Jesus a combination god/man?He is a MAN.Simple.My brother, it is not that simple.
