Surely a son by birth is more important than all the other sons? Scripture seems to set Jesus a part from all other “sons.”Angels will worship him.We will bow down to him.He belongs to the family. We will be adopted.

A son by birth. Ah, yes…..this is the truth of God!Jesus is the ONLY SON of God by birth.Jesus is the ONLY SON who does not need to be adopted, because he already belongs.Tell me something more, can Jesus be a son of God if he is part human?

Quote (kejonn @ July 20 2007,18:31)Folks,You have to realize that the Bible was written by the inspiration of men in terms and concepts they knew. People in the 1st century and before knew none of the details of the biology of conception. Why would you therefore expect that this aspect of the conception be mentioned at all? So now people will end…[Read more]

What do other's think? If Jesus was a preexisting son prior to his conception inside of Mary – would his being change after the conception process?Or would it be like the incarnation where deity grew alongside of humanity and did not fuse as in a normal conception? In reviewing the thread and other's with like-topics, I've noted that most do not…[Read more]

Wow. Thanks, 94.This is all new to me. I mean, I've heard about this while growing up in church, but I've never studied it at any length. I confess that in many ways, since I denounced the Trinity, I am coming to life and beginning to actually study the Word. Whereas before, I was “fed” twice on Sundays and once on Wednesday nights.
