when I use the term god it is the english translation of the plural elohim. God called his sons “god”. This is semantics, language barriers and presuppositions that cause peope to freak out.It is a title like king. It is reflective of a mighty one with a given authority.I don't think Christians will be like God the Father, in power or…[Read more]

Quote (Mr. Steve @ Oct. 21 2007,09:02)MorningStar;Perfection is not discussed much but the scriptures do support your position of ruling with God. Well said!I agree with your post completely. However, I think we would both agree that the position I have is not remotely the majority view. But what can we do but follow the evidence the best we can. Which is what I am sincerely doing.Hebrews 11 1Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

This is an improved version of my original post with additonal verses and commentary and some grammatical changes.I have laid out a sequence of verses trying to demonstrate this thesis: That Jesus is the firstborn son of God, an angelic being, one of many sons. The firstborn Son was given Israel as his portion of inheritance and when the other…[Read more]

This is where I think alot of the trouble comes from on the part of those who have to find a way to either merge Jesus with the Father or deny the divinity of Jesus. They are worried about a label.
