Dear JBL,IMO, getting a tattoo is morally neutral, there is no moral component, it is merely body art. Having said that I would never allow any of my children to have one and would strongly advise anyone, especially females, against it. Have you ever seen an older person with a tattoo that looked good? What's cool when your younger looks gr…[Read more]

Stuart brings up an interesting point, the point of free will and choice even when doing what we see as good. Healing prayers or magic or whatever, should only be done with the consent of the individual (exceptions can be made for those who are incapacitated or are otherwise incapable of consent). Disregarding other's free will can be more e…[Read more]

Hence the scripture Titus 2:13 ” looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,” Being both man and god would be defined as demigod, would it not?Mark 10:18 “And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is…[Read more]

I guess it all depends on how we define god or God. It would be possible to have a supreme all-powerful creator or God, who then would create lesser but still immortal entities who would could be invested with some portion of cosmic or divine power, or gods. In this sense Christianity and Islam who have their angelic orders are no different. …[Read more]

Quote (Colter @ May 08 2008,04:21)Some of the other problems that people have with Jesus' seemingly conflicting statements is due to the fact that Jesus was a “duel nature being”, a divine son having a human experience. Quote (gsilva72 @ May 07 2008,11:45)How is Jesus not God? Jesus is not a demi god, but he is God. Hebrews 1:8, Matthew 1:23, John 1:1, 1 Timothy 3:16 all declare that Jesus is God. Back to the question why is it hard to understand the things of God?I think it goes back to my premise that life is school, many here think it is a one course curriculum and even in that they want the answers to the exams without going to class.
