Quote (Not3in1 @ June 06 2008,15:39) Rasicm and prejudices are real and they do present challenges. It's just that if you are not a minority you have the luxury of not being aware of them on a daily basis. Sure, you may have a black friend or two, but you cannot fully understand or appreciate the impact of racism in all it's forms unless you ar…[Read more]

While I have disagreed with some of your assumptions as well as your conclusions I feel they were done sincerely and without malice, so no apology is needed. I hope likewise you view my responses to you were based on my views and not an attack on your character or experience. I am welcome here despite my spiritual unorthodoxy, so you should be e…[Read more]

Kennedy, was about the same age 46, yet he had executive experience as a naval officer in WWII, and served 6 years in the House and 7 years in the Senate so he had quite a lot more applicable experience then Mr. Obama.Obama may be good but he has no track record or history, so far all he has are speeches and platitudes I think the presidency is…[Read more]

The dirtyknections anti-american diatribe seems to imply that the US is a hopelessly racist country bent on global iniquity.Yet if the US is so anti-minority explain how Asian-American immigrants who are minorities by both race and ethnicity with often varying language difficulties have high education rates roughly equal to whites, low…[Read more]

Regardless of ideology I don't see how a man in his mid 40s with only two years in the Senate, and no executive experience is picked for a US presidential nomination.

Actually I was joking, I think the Biblical references to water at creation are allegorical.

Well New Age is hardly a religion, it is more a smorgasboard of ideas and practices from a variety of spiritual backgrounds. The I-Ching itself originated thousands of years ago so it is hardly new and is more philosophical then anything religious. It attempts to describe what happens in the microcosm of human existence by comparing it to the…[Read more]

As stated before, war is mentioned in the OT and not as evil unto itself,Pro 24:6 For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy warExo 15:3 The LORD is a warrior; the LORD is his name.Exo 17:16 He said, “For hands were lifted up to the throne of the LORD. The LORD will be at war against the Amalekites from generation to generation.”So it would appear…[Read more]

Perhaps the conflict of how we feel about God in our hearts and how he is portrayed in the OT comes from the fact that one of them is wrong. Either our spirits lie to us in our views that God is primal love, without flaw and cares for all creation or the OT is flawed. My view is that the OT is flawed. As far as prayer, I have at times had results…[Read more]

As a side note I noticed that the Chinese book I-Ching has come up in regards to end times prophecies. Having read and used a couple of translations of the I-Ching let me say it has nothing to do with any end of the world predictions. The book itself is not even correctly a divination tool though many use it as such. It is philosophy, the I Ch…[Read more]

I guess what I don't understand is how UFOs would sway people one way or another. I would think those of a demonic nature could find more efficient ways of subverting mankind then to bother with false UFOs is all. I don't see how other forms of life whether real or faked would change people's belief in God is all. I guess I am missing something…

Could someone explain how demons posing as UFOs distracts people from God's truth? If people for some reason believe in UFOs I don't see how that in any way conflicts with God or morality. I don't know if they exist or not, but the Universe is vast and it is possible, if they do indeed exist then God created them as well. As for why demons w…[Read more]

Politics is always nasty business, there is nothing new here, but we were born into this world at this time for a reason and it is not merely to give praise to God and hope for salvation in the next life. We all have jobs to do and lessons to learn and hope for a better world (this world, the material earth) is a powerful motivator to do and be…[Read more]

Right now Obama is a favorite to win the American presidency. He is relative unknown in national politics having served only two years in the US Senate with a leftist almost socialist voting record. He is taking advantage of the Bush unpopularity, a motivational speaker style campaign, and a desire by many for something different. His su…[Read more]

A lot depends on how we define God and god. While most here believe in the supremecy and omnipotence of God, there is dispute over whether there are indeed gods (non-capitalized); if a god is “a supernatural being, worshipped as the controller of some aspect of life or as the personification of some force”, then this brings up possibilities of w…[Read more]
