When Jesus said “he who is of God” in that verse he is plainly referring to himself. And what of this verse St Jn 3:13 “No one has ascended to heaven but he who descended from heaven; the Son of Man”?

Are you both annointed men? you both claim to be and so you both have seen God? so you’ve seen God spiritually I suppose as I claim also? so is that how Moses and Jesus saw God too?  just spiritually in their own thoughts? maybe so and many stories were built upon that.

You know as well as I that what Gene is saying here are his own extreme ideas and foolish interpretations of 2 Thess. I won’t even blame the devil for that.

Nick, I’m saying what St John’s gospel clearly says in chapter 12. That is the authors interpretation of it.It has nothing to do with what you perceive is written in Isa 6 unless you really don’t accept what is written in St John. It has nothing to do with the NIV which I don’t use. Read it in any translation you like.

And no Gene I’m not espousing Trinity as I even plainly said in my previous post. I realize that’s the main sticking point of this site;that is hate of the term  or doctrine of trinity.And I’m not your trinitarian opponent but rather an Arian in truth and by grace.

Fear not Satan’s doctrines or lies for Christ came to bring us to God and raise us up as himself in God’s temple.

Of course God was in Christ and Christ was also in God while the fleshly form of God went about reconciling the world,even you, to himself.

Judaism is no more true than Christianity. You want to be a jew like Jesus you think? like that makes you better than Christianity? think again.

Judaism also has many pagan parallels and it’s evolution has many Persian and Greek influences,if you are wanting to be historical. And these influences are even seen in the gospels.

If Christ be nothing more than a creature like ourselves then our salvation is truly by our own freewill. And maybe that really is the truth?
