“Born not made”? what a great distinction! is that kinda like begotten not made? but then it’s turned around to be made and not born at a whim.Sounds like theology! All hail the logic of satan.

How silly is hoghead to assume to come here and educate us ignoramuses just so he can talk theology! oh my gosh I called him silly,so I might be on my way to death. But at least i didn’t call him a fool like Jesus called the Pharisees.

Hell-Oh Hoghead,
“Being sensitive is part of being a good theologian. In the scholarly world, you get marked off, and rightly so, for trying to dump on your opponent’s character. “Heat” is one thing, dumping on someone’s character is something else altogether. Also, your “ribbing” is rude and uncalled for. Save that for some place else, wou…[Read more]

Dear Hoghead,
What undue name calling did I call you? a simplistic modalist who calls himself a trin? Why are you with your higher education being so theologically and personally sensitive? Am I wrong in my assessment? I could’ve called you much worse and condemned you to eternal flames. You’re personally offended by my theological ribbing? It’s…[Read more]

Hello Hoghead,
You say “Anybody with over an eighth-grade education back of the pews. Simple religion for simple minds, I say. If you want to go that way, that’s fine by me. However, leave me out of it.” And yet you can’t defend the real trinitarian doctrine of Athanasius or Nicea. Instead you are a modalistic simpleton calling himself a tr…[Read more]

Dear Gene,
I do tend to agree about many gays being sexual perverts for their lives are ruled by sexual lusts especially among men. I’ve said I do have sympathy for some of them and think some were born that way,but I have met some nasty bad ones. And they are not all peaceful kind people like the media would like us to believe. And to all,of…[Read more]

Kerwin,
The Jews don’t need to go the so called holy land to go to God.And many don’t believe the modern state is of God. I’ve heard there are more Jews in NYC than in Israel and I haven’t heard of them being persecuted too much. They don’t believe in the bogus earthly Zionist dreams of many evangelical Christians or worldly Jews.

That’s great Marty and I pray it all goes well with you as you fight the good fight of faith.

And his statements about the ovens running 24/7 for so long are entirely irrelevant as far as I’m concerned for the real point and truth of the matter is the Nazi’s atrocities against the Jews and others. As I said he doesn’t flatly deny the atrocities as some do but he does seem to lessen it by accusing practically all Jews as being liars.

” Now the system that generates the needs always meets the needs. There isn’t one thing we need that can’t be fund in reality. We need water, and there is water. If you became a drug addict even, and needed drugs, there are drugs out there. So it stand to reason that if we need God, there is a God.”

“That’s what I mean when I say the Bible provides conflicting snap shots and that we have to piece these together as best we can.”
And the “best we can” can present various pictures according to all of our various ideas on how we piece God together.

Kerwin,
It’s quite simple in that he that comes to God must believe that he is…Heb11:6 for without faith it’s impossible to please him etc. If one does not believe in God then he is not real to them.

One may argue about the trinity and how the popes and other church fathers were trins but were Jesus or Paul or Matthew,Mark,Luke and John? They don’t come across that way to me in most instances. Only John’s gospel brings out three separate divine beings which can be postulated as a trinity while other verses in the book seem to deny that very…[Read more]

Hoghead,
Furthermore how do I claim to be closer to God than you or the”fathers” just because I accuse you of being boastful and being a modalist? I pointed out the fact that you are a modalist and not a trin and then you accuse me of calling you a heretic.Which I did not. You make assumptions about me in an accusatory spirit. Hello Hoghead,
I apologize for using the term “boastful pride” and I suppose it does sound like a personal attack. I was just pointing out how we are all theologians. And I do appreciate your comments here.
And as far as trinity goes I’ve been thought of as one here since I do see how it is inferred from the bible and as i’ve said I don’t have…[Read more]
