My prayers are always answered. Sometimes he tells me no, and other times he tells me to be patient, and occasionally he even says yes.

God causes the winds to blow and the rain to fall whenever they do but when Jesus asks God for these wind to blow and the rain to fall God will grant his petition. You see this when Jesus asked that the thousands be fed and in other of his miracles works.
One of the few rituals is to pray and our prayers are addressed to God. Jesus taught us to ask in the name of the Son.
Hi Kerwin. Actually, there is the model prayer, but Jesus also said regarding after his death (John 14.13):
Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.
Did you see, Jesus said if we ask him (Jesus) anything, he (Jesus) will do it so the Father will be glorified in him?
Miia….Did you ever think that the reason you had a closer relationship wih Jesus, was because you came to understand that people were speaking about JESUS, TO THE EXCLUSION OF GOD THE FATHER? MAYBE THAT IS WHY YOU CAME CLOSER TO JESUS CHRIST, BECAUSE YOU CAME CLOSER TO THE FATHER.

Hi Gene. I don’t think that’s the reason; because I lost it all when I stopped communicating with the son and tried to go to the Father without the son, except for a word/ name before of after prayer. Quite the opposite.

I have found personally I have learned patience, but in the process, I have lost something.
I think situations over the years have changed me, for good, and bad.
I put up with verbal abuse concerning my beliefs by a friend I write to, and forum abuse, and bad spirits.
All has an effect.

Jesus provided us with the generic model of a group prayer that can be changed to individual use but the apostles only followed it in a very general manner in at least one prayer in Acts.

I have no contact with anyone here, and he’s not caused problems (that I’m aware of). Disagree with English Gemetria etc though.
