Hi,
Wolves have been mentioned lately so let us look at them in scripture.
Jn 10
“He who is a hired hand, and not a shepherd, who is not the owner of the sheep, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches them and scatters them.”
Matt 10
” Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; so be shrewd as serpents and innocent as doves.”
Matt 7
“”Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves”
Acts 20
“I know that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock;”So they are deceitful
They serve themselves and oppose the Master.
They enter the flock by stealth to divide it and destroy the sheep of Jesus.
They have never been a sheep but know how to pretend.
Their only work is for themselves.
They see sheep only as tools to be used for their purposes.
They are vicious and aggressive.
They cause fear among some shepherds.
They are effective in their nefarious work.October 3, 2006 at 1:27 am#29923He’s Coming in the CloudsParticipantWolves are the ones who will try their hardest to convince you they are not Wolves, even after the wool has been removed from off them.
October 3, 2006 at 3:23 am#29929NickHassanParticipantHi,
The sheep and lambs are tended by the Good shepherd.
” 1The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.”
God through him protects and gently comforts his flock.
Is 40
“10Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.11He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.”
The lambs sent out among wolves are yet safe.

Sounds a little like Paul to me!!!October 4, 2006 at 8:22 am#30013NickHassanParticipantHi a7,
Is it only Paul who you feel is not of Christ? What of Peter and John, the backsliding Mark and the other imperfect vessels? Are there better more reliable witnesses now you have found?
Paul said
“It is no longer I that liveth but Christ that liveth in me”
I believe him
He certainly admitted to expressing the occasional opinion and Peter found his tecahing a bit difficult at times. But Peter supported him and yet he was the one who had to rebuke Peter for his doctrinal weakness reported in Galatians.
There is no conflict between his words and that of the Master IMHO.October 5, 2006 at 12:56 am#30067He’s Coming in the CloudsParticipantBut there is a difference between the Words of our Lord that that of Nick's. Beware of those who come posing as good Shepards, but they are here to steal your soul.
October 5, 2006 at 3:13 am#30075NickHassanParticipantHi,
Acts 20
“I know that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock;”It did not take long for the wolves, driven by reason and not the Spirit to lead men off the safe path.
October 5, 2006 at 8:53 pm#30112NickHassanParticipantHi,
Wolves move in packs and come in cunningly trying to separate the vulnerable lambs from their mothers and the Shepherd with his staff. They use fear and domination and intimidation to seek their own ends, devouring and destroying those lambs. They hate the Shepherd.October 5, 2006 at 9:15 pm#30117He’s Coming in the CloudsParticipantJesus loves you Nick, ask him into your heart.
October 5, 2006 at 9:20 pm#30119NickHassanParticipantHi,
So wolves in sheep's clothing have two natures. On the outside they have the nice words to say and they know how to give the impression of being sheep but their dripping jowls and their fiery temper when opposed and their seeking of a personal following confirms that their fruit is not that of the Spirit of Christ.
October 5, 2006 at 10:14 pm#30133He’s Coming in the CloudsParticipantNick, all you have to do is ask and I will cast the unclean spirit from you. I warned the spirit, now I ask the man, do you want to be clean?

This site should not tolerate such posts as this.October 5, 2006 at 11:59 pm#30139He’s Coming in the CloudsParticipantIt tolerates you continuous badgering and childish antics.
I do ask that the post be removed and ask all to forgive me. The Lord told me to go to nick through PM and I first posted it. I ask all to forgive me and I pray the Lord forgive me. He gave me the vision to speak with nick privately and I posted it.
Please heaven, I ask you remove it as quickly as possible.

That's what I call forgiveness and Christian LOVE.October 6, 2006 at 1:13 am#30146NickHassanParticipantHi H,

Now that H has said so then there is no problem telling all that he also sent me a PM along the same lines. People who offer to deliver others from demons on a public site are not only deceived but lack even simple commonsense.
We do need to listen to John as many hear other voices.
1Jn 4
” 1Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”October 6, 2006 at 4:30 pm#30169He’s Coming in the CloudsParticipantI ask all to not hold Nick accountable. It makes it's presense known when discovered and we must not blame the man. I ask that all pray for deliverance of this man. The hatred does not come from the man, but the forces controlling the man. We must pray for the man that he be delivered.
It is not flesh and bone we war against, but principalities in high places.
October 6, 2006 at 5:28 pm#30173NickHassanParticipantHi H,
You are the only member who has ever accused any other member of being inspired by demons.Your friends said the same thing about Jesus and he warned us we would be treated no better.
Thank you for the honour of being able to follow the Master in this regard.
