Should a sinner repent and turn to The Father, The Holy Spirit or to Jesus The Son of God? Should we repent three times or should we only repent to Jesus whom you say died for our sins?
Hi EF,
It is the God of Jesus that men are separated from and it is to Him we must repent.
Jesus is our mediator and advocate with GodRemorse or contrition for past conduct or sin hmm, it would be logical to show such or do penance first to the one(s) we wronged. If I wrong my neighbor to him then I owe my apology and restitution is possible.
“if” possible not “is” possible as I mistakenly posted. I need to get editing rights some day as I make too many typos. Alas my fingers fail to keep pace with my thoughts.
EF………repentenance requires a change of Heart and only GOd can Give us a true repentant Heart. “I shall take out of them the Heart of (STONE) hard Heart another word, and Give them a Heart of Flesh (SOFT) Heart, and I will write My laws and commandments in their (INWARD) parts. This Shows the true repentance is a work of GOD not man. Man can only repent from His heart and GOD Caused that to happen by opening up our understanding to see what we truely have done and how we have Hurt some one. True repentance is a Gift from GOD, True repentance is not a man Choice, it is a GOD choice, He cause us to become sorry for what we have done or can do to others, and this sorrow leads us to repent, “FOR YOU ARE SORROWED UNTO RIGHTEOUSNESS” and again, “GODLY SORROW WORKS REPENTANCE NOT TO BE REPENTED OFF”. Unless the LORD build the House the worry builders build in vain. IMO
