Hear O Israel, God is One.
Would you divide the Spirit of God?

ParticipantEdj….lets break down something you ask about, you said is the spirit of christ the spirit of Jesus, lets breakdown the words “spirit of christ” , properly read it’s saying “the spirit of the anointing, and that is not Jesus himself, but is the anointing spirit of God, better known as the word which came into the flesh man Jesus, who as we, had his own spirit he recieved from God at berth, just like we do. The CRISTO’S WAS ADDED TO HIM AT THE JORDAN RIVER. That christo’s spirit was of God the Father, that same spirit can come to be in all of us. Now if the spirit of God dwell in me then I am in God and Jesus, and all saints, and they are in me, that one “God may be in all and through all”. Thats the way I see it, and I believe Nick does too.
Peace and love to you and yours. ……gene

ParticipantHi Ed,
Yes the wisdom of God is not the wisdom of men.
We are privileged to be given a glimpse of God’s ways in scripture.
But we should not make assumptions based on man’s crude logic based views .

Would you divide the Spirit of God?
Hi Nick,

ParticipantHi Ed,
But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and strife and disputes about the Law, for they are unprofitable and worthless.
Titus 3.9
Your question is foolish.

ParticipantHi Ed,
Since you seem to believe the Spirit of Christ is not of and one with the Spirit of God we have a problem.
How can we go beyond square one when you do not accept the basics?
God is One. The Spirit is One.
January 19, 2018 at 7:06 am#820905NickHassan
ParticipantHi Ed,
God has given us some clues.
By comparing Lk 11 and Mt 12 we can see that the Spirit is as the finger of God.
So we can use that analogy.
When you hurt your finger you feel pain. But the finger of a man can only feel and touch and be used in special ways but cannot see or hear or walk. Perhaps this relates in some way -I do not know.
To lie to the Spirit is to lie to God as Acts 5 shows. So the Spirit fully represents God. Psalm 139.7 shows this too.
God sends His Spirit and pours out His Spirit. Scripture does not say He sends our pours out Himself.
God is in heaven but he is close to all to all men as the Spirit as Acts 17 shows.
So your foolish question cannot encompass what God has shown us.

Yes Nick, God tells us many things prophetically before they happen.
