    Hi T,
    Your words
“IF all you say was true and of God then I have been warned and you are not guilty of my blood ,

but if all you say is wrong then you are guilty of trying to corrupt a righteous man

so let it leave at that and see, “

    Hi,
At his anointing Jesus became the LORD Jesus
    1 Corinthians 5:4
In the name of our Lord Jesus, when you are assembled, and I with you in spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus,
    1 Corinthians 12:3
Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus is accursed”; and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.
    1 Corinthians 16:23
The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you.

    Nick,
But can YOU say that Jesus is your Lord and Savior? Don't give me verses…can you say it?

    hi LU,
    Is this a test?
    Yes I just said it.

But the spiritual meaning is deeper.
Out of the mouth comes what the heart is full of.

    Hi KW,
So it was WHEN the Spirit came on him?

    Nick,

The Spirit was on Jesus before that point as he did not sin even though tempted by evil; even before that point.

The Spirit came down as a dove to bear witness to who he is; just as it is written:

    John 1:33
    New International Version (NIV)

33 And I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’

    Hi T,
Did you not know the Spirit alighted on him as a Dove when God affirmed Ps 2?

    Nick,

The form of a dove is a symbolic message from God.

    Genesis 8:11
    King James Version (KJV)

11And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.

    Here is my source.

    Kerwin

how many saw that sign ????

    Pierre,

How many have heard the witness of the sign of the dove?

    Kerwin

Mt 3:15 Jesus replied, “Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.” Then John consented.
Mt 3:16 As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him.
Mt 3:17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”

Mk 1:9 At that time Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan.
Mk 1:10 As Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw heaven being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove.
Mk 1:11 And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.”

Lk 3:21 When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as he was praying, heaven was opened
Lk 3:22 and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.”

Jn 1:29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
Jn 1:30 This is the one I meant when I said, ‘A man who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.’
Jn 1:31 I myself did not know him, but the reason I came baptizing with water was that he might be revealed to Israel.”
Jn 1:32 Then John gave this testimony: “I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on him.
Jn 1:33 I would not have known him, except that the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is he who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’
Jn 1:34 I have seen and I testify that this is the Son of God.”

Jn 1:35 The next day John was there again with two of his disciples.
Jn 1:36 When he saw Jesus passing by, he said, “Look, the Lamb of God!”
Jn 1:37 When the two disciples heard him say this, they followed Jesus.

I can only count two how much you count ???

    Pierre,

Those two continuously bear witness to multitudes.

    Hi KW,
Logic should not rule your mind.

Was it possible to fulfill the law or was God being unfair?
    He cannot be.

Yes it was and Jesus did.

The HOLY Spirit does not live in human temples till they are cleansed. Jesus drove the evil from the Jerusalem temple as a sign.

    God fills clean vessels

GOD became flesh and dwelt among us.
not the father, but the son!

your doctrine is not in the bible.

the bible teaches us that the son, who is God by nature, became flesh and dwelt among us.

    Nick,

Logic is logical reasoning and God expects you to use it as he created man as a reasoning creature.  Don't you realize that you use logic yourself?

Jesus has always been a clean vessel as he did not fall short of the glory of God.

Here is a passage that teaches us Jesus was given authority to preach.  It is a different aspect of the Spirit than I wrote of.

    Luke 4
    New International Version (NIV)

18 “The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
      because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
    to set the oppressed free,
19 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”[f]

    f. Luke 4:19 Isaiah 61:1,2 (see Septuagint); Isaiah 58:6

The closest to preaching I know of that occurred previous to his immersion by John is as a boy of 12.  In that case he behaved as an knowledgeable student and not a teacher.

    Luke 2
    New International Version (NIV)

46 After three days they found him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. 47 Everyone who heard him was amazed at his understanding and his answers.

    Nick,

It is clear that you believe the words of scripture that say Jesus was MADE Christ and Lord.

Many of us also believe the words of Phil 2 that say Jesus was existing in the form of God before he was MADE into a human being.

    jammin,

The word “Christ” refers to an anointed one OF God. If your anointed one OF God is also the God who anointed him, then something's wrong with your understanding of scripture, IMO.
