Hi,
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.
To the literalists I ask-
Does this mean this man existed as he is before he was conceived, born, named or anointed?
If not then think spiritually.

Most people who are literalists pick and choose what they they choose what they take literally.
Your point is valid.

Oh how sweet of you Kerwin to agree with Nick while you as a fellow fundie do the same thing, that is cherry pick what you want to believe and ignore verses which are to the contrary. And of course as your fellow fundies you deceive yourself in thinking you are so high and mighty.
February 23, 2016 at 8:35 pm#809547kerwinParticipantAndrewAD,
The word fundy is derogatory and often used by the insincere and unbelievers. Avoid using words that serve no good purpose.
I cannot see where a person that walks according to the Spirit would use it though some might think the words such a person would use are worse. For example brood of vipers, i.e. those that lie to the harm of others. So if you had chosen to replace fundies by “brood of vipers” and not inferred or implied certain individuals were guilty of the crime then you would have made a true statement without accusing anyone. Even an accusation can be used to help if it is true.
Those that walk according to the flesh will do many things they should not. For example you appear to be guilty of prejudgement as well as hypocrisy as you do the same you accuse others of. Considering taking the beam out of your own eye before offering to aid others to take the beam out of their own.

Yes he was born Jesus Christ, was Jesus Christ at the Jordan, and still is Jesus Christ even in Heaven.
Within Mary, was a holy child begotten. Not just any child with an adam as his Father, no, his Father was and is God. This Jesus, existed in the form of God and is now in the glory he had with God before the cosmos. Amen!
Many are those that relegate Jesus to a mere man like us and many are those who elevate the son to be his own God. The spirit of error is in the world.
March 1, 2016 at 3:52 pm#809866ProclaimerParticipantHi Gene,
How do you account for Jesus living a sin-free life
for “the first 30 years” of his life. before he was
baptized with the spirit of his father?I don’t think he can.
The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.
Why is Jesus the son of God to you? Is this explanation above what you believe? And if he is holy, then is he the Christ at this point or not?
When Jesus was born it is written that he was the son of God and the Christ. I know you disagree, but you are wrong because you go against the testimony of scripture.
March 1, 2016 at 3:57 pm#809867NickHassanParticipantHi T8,
Timing.
WILL speaks of the future.
You interpret it as the immediate future.
You should believe in the work of the Spirit of God and not chide those who do.
March 1, 2016 at 3:58 pm#809868ProclaimerParticipant@kerwin, This is the last time I ask this before the Hot Seat.
Did the angel of God speak the truth and message of God about Jesus?
”for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord”.
Yes or no. Please answer with Yes or no.
You can explain your answer if you want in the next post.

March 1, 2016 at 4:00 pm#809870NickHassanParticipantHi t8,
He spoke the truth but you interpreted it wrongly and now castigate those who did not.
March 1, 2016 at 4:06 pm#809871ProclaimerParticipantOkay, so you believe that indeed that day in Bethlehem was born a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
Good.
But you earlier said the opposite:
“Of course Jesus was made both Lord and Christ so was not conceived or born as such.”
Have you changed your mind? Yes / No / I don’t know
March 1, 2016 at 4:19 pm#809873NickHassanParticipantHi T8,
No.
Again you misinterpret.
He was not born anointed is what I meant.
The anointed one who died after his anointing had to be born first.

In case you haven’t noticed I’m not a fundie but I used to be until christ set me free and i have no beams to pick about worshiping the bible.

It is obvious to anyone that you disagree with the angel’s message, this part of scripture, and who Jesus was when he was born.
That is a fail Nick. I thank you for being honest, but you are honestly wrong. Your statement and teaching here is the polar opposite to what the scripture says.
Let it be known that you are a false teacher with regards to who/what Jesus was when he was born.
March 1, 2016 at 4:51 pm#809879NickHassanParticipantHi T8,
You can only read scripture as being immediate.
It is prophetic and you gain false impressions
March 1, 2016 at 5:05 pm#809880NickHassanParticipantHi t8,
Your idea that the way you read scripture is the only way is disturbing.
Are you not open to other ideas at all?
March 1, 2016 at 6:38 pm#809883Ed JParticipantEd,
No I don’t claim there are two Spirits that are God – of course Christ has his own spirit just like you have you own spirit.
“WE will come unto him, and make OUR abode with him” (John 14:23)
1. Spirit of God
2. Spirit of ChristI did not say Spirit’ that is God. I said Spirit like the passage does. It is implied that the Spirit comes from God.
Since your answer introduced a new mystery please answer this one.
Do you believe Jesus’ Spirit did not come from God?
Hi Kerwin,
I believe Jesus’ spirit was “the spirit of Christ”, and
yes “the spirit of Christ” came from God as God’s Son.
“WE will come unto him, and make OUR abode with him” (John 14:23)
1. Spirit of God
2. Spirit of ChristExamine this verse carefully…
“Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven;
but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God
is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.” (John 6:32-33)Q. What is this “bread”?
A. “the spirit of Christ”Note: what Micah 5:2 is saying in this regard… (“Bethlehem” means “HOUSE OF BREAD”)
Whose goings forth have been from everlasting shall come forth out of thee Bethlehem
What Micah 5:2 means is that Jesus was born “Christ” and there is ‘NO JORDAN BY-PASS’If this is still a mystery to you,
please feel free to ask more questions; OK?_________________
God bless

March 2, 2016 at 5:14 am#809891kerwinParticipantEd,
I missed your post on page 10 where you said:
Q. What is this “bread”?
A. “the spirit of Christ”.
I will try to get it when my head is feeling better.
March 2, 2016 at 5:16 am#809892kerwinParticipantEd,
Offhand I can see where you are going partway to the truth and then stopping short of the goal.
