Hi T,
What is plain is that there was change.
Now he is perfect.
Are there variations on perfect?
May 10, 2016 at 4:58 pm#813980terrariccaParticipantHi N
what is perfection ?
May 10, 2016 at 5:19 pm#813990NickHassanParticipantHi T,
Find answers in scripture
May 11, 2016 at 12:42 am#813999terrariccaParticipantHi N
so if you don’t know then why are you talking about it ?
we should never preach/talk/comment about things we don’t know in fear of saying lies and so blaspheme the name of God ,
May 11, 2016 at 8:44 am#814025NickHassanParticipantHi T,
No you should not.
The Messiah was born in Bethlehem.
And he entered God’s service at about the age of 30.
May 11, 2016 at 9:48 am#814037ProclaimerParticipantAre there variations on perfect?
To inherit another’s perfection vs always been perfect.
May 11, 2016 at 9:54 am#814038ProclaimerParticipantWhy is this topic 37 pages long?
The answer is clear and in scripture for all to see.
Luke 2:11
Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.lol. Some here think they know more than what has been revealed to us from above. As it is written:
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
I don’t see the point in pretending to be right for a short while when we face the prospect of eternity and judgement by a holy God who is always true.
I now await the Devil in the Detail posts that will try to convince people to not believe this heavenly messenger.

good reminder ;but it seem that some still don’t get it ,
for they have there own opinion
May 11, 2016 at 10:11 am#814042NickHassanParticipantHi t8,
Did you not realise the Messiah was born in Bethlehem?
You set up this silly thread to mock those who believe in the Spirit and realise the Spirit came down on Jesus at the Jordan.
May 11, 2016 at 10:55 am#814050terrariccaParticipantN
but is was you that said that the Christ was born at the Jordan not us
May 11, 2016 at 11:11 am#814057NickHassanParticipantHi T,
The book of Acts in Ch 10 speaks of Jesus of Nazareth being anointed with the Holy Spirit.
But you do not accept this book.
Do you reject the Spirit that inspired it too?
May 13, 2016 at 10:59 pm#814182ProclaimerParticipantDid you not realise the Messiah was born in Bethlehem?
But it was you denying this. lol. Is this the closest you can come to admitting you were wrong?
May 14, 2016 at 7:12 am#814187NickHassanParticipantHi t8,
Yes you would think that if you could not grasp the prophetic word.
May 18, 2016 at 10:03 am#814306NickHassanParticipantHi T8,
2 peter 1
For we did not follow cleverly devised tales when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of His majesty. 17 For when He received honor and glory from God the Father, such an utterance as this was made to Him by the Majestic Glory, “This is My beloved Son with whom I am well-pleased”— 18 and we ourselves heard this utterance made from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain.
This is the confirmation of what God said at the Jordan about Jesus Christ.
But you think he was anointed prior to the Jordan?
May 25, 2016 at 1:21 pm#814430ProclaimerParticipantThe problem Nick has is he draws conclusions from his own understanding. While it may not be directly stated that Jesus had the spirit before baptism, neither can he assert that he had not the spirit. Regarding John, we know that he received the spirit at birth.
Luke 1:15
For he will be great in the sight of the Lord; and he will drink no wine or liquor, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit while yet in his mother’s womb.Had not this particular verse been mentioned, then perhaps Nick would confidently say that John had not the spirit because he was not baptised in Jesus name. Likewise if it doesn’t say that Jesus had the spirit or not, you cannot say that he had not when there is no scriptural proof.
Nick always asks for proof that Jesus had the spirit before his birth while confidently asserting that he had not and yet the same proof is not required for some reason.
If John had the spirit and Jesus not, then show me the smoking gun Nick.
But an angel of God stated that Jesus the messiah was born in a manger. That is a good enough testimony for me. Nick’s testimony about the messiah is found wanting.

Yes evidence beyond opinion is required as Kerwin will appreciate.
The messiah was born in Bethlehem.
May 25, 2016 at 3:57 pm#814450Ed JParticipantHi Nick,
And who is the “he” that came from everlasting to Bethlehem as Micah 5:2 states?
____________
God bless
Ed JMay 25, 2016 at 4:31 pm#814463NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
With your spiritual eyes on;
Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday , today and forever.
May 25, 2016 at 5:38 pm#814465Ed JParticipantHi Nick,
“he” would have to be “the Spirit of Christ” – because Jesus’ flesh
did not exist prior to his conception in Mary’s womb, correct? Or no?____________
God bless

The messiah was born in Bethlehem.
But you don’t believe that the messiah was born that day in Bethlehem. You stated:
Of course Jesus was made both Lord and Christ so was not conceived or born as such.

But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. - AuthorPosts
