you are talking in allegorical way this could mean two things ;

1) you don’t know what you talking about and so hide your ignorance of it ,

2)you know about it but cannot explain it for it is not clear to you what really it is .

for being reborn in itself is very clear in scriptures and is by no mean a ritual ,but a transformation of our soul into the full control of God through Christ ,
this must be done in full no % is acceptable to God
