Hi t,
Why did you not quote the verse before analysing it?
April 27, 2016 at 5:54 pm#812836NickHassanParticipantHi t,
Perhaps your problem is that you thought it was the spirit of a human instead of An aspect of the Spirit of God?

show me that I was wrong with the scriptures first per ups you are wrongly interpreting the scriptures ,always prove your point with scriptures not with opinions

Jesus was born at Bethlehem.
He was only said to be FULL OF THE SPIRIT after the Jordan.
Lk 4

Lk 4:18 “The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
because he has anointed me
to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to release the oppressed,
Lk 4:19 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
Lk 4:20 Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him,
Lk 4:21 and he began by saying to them, “Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”can’t let go the man’s teachings ,

Hi Nick
Perhaps your problem is that you thought “the spirit of Christ” arrived at the Jordan instead of Bethlehem.

You are determined to push your one verse dogma
it is yours
April 28, 2016 at 3:12 pm#812873NickHassanParticipantHi ED,
You have yet to explain and show evidence of when Jesus was FIRST anointed.
We have also yet to hear whether he had a human spirit as well as the anointing Spirit.
please answer
April 28, 2016 at 3:24 pm#812876NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
It seems odd that you would castigate the JWs for using one verse to claim Jesus is Michael.
But then you try and do the same yourself with micah 5
April 28, 2016 at 3:33 pm#812879terrariccaParticipanthow can Jesus the son of God be without his own spirit ?
how could he be different in spirit by being the anointed one ?
was king David another man when he became king ? no,
when i was born i did not know anything but as i grew i learn and when i read the bible i found my road ,and follow it but i was the same person but on a different road ,
?
April 28, 2016 at 4:10 pm#812882NickHassanParticipantHi T,
Exactly.
For someone to be anointed they need to be alive by a human spirit.
The body without a spirit is dead as James said.
Of course after death unless one has the anointing Spirit they await judgement.
There is no condemnation for those who have passed over from death to life.
Rom 12. Jn 5
April 28, 2016 at 5:44 pm#812889terrariccaParticipantNick
but Jesus came down from heaven as a being ,(with all his own spirit and mind)to give up his perfect sinless live for all men ,
and so his purpose was to do just that ,and he did just that but he also trained 11 disciples and these came to be man regular men ,and they followed him
for he give them the hope of the faith the have live for as Jews ,
their message his the same that they received from the son of God ,what as been spread all over the world ,and those that are of the good seed produce the real changes in their lives for that is what the written word of God does to those that really believe in it ,
then they produce fruits of their own but all the fruits are the same only the reapers have changed, for God is the same always and his truth never changes
April 28, 2016 at 6:44 pm#812891NickHassanParticipantHi t,
So you think a divine being somehow convinced ordinary men to become extraordinary and heal and raise the dead.
You have no idea of the work of the Spirit do you?
April 28, 2016 at 8:29 pm#812897Ed JParticipantHi ED,
(1) You have yet to explain and show evidence of when Jesus was FIRST anointed.
(2) We have also yet to hear whether he had a human spirit as well as the anointing Spirit.

Hi Nick,
1) I have explained and shown much evidence already, but you ears are not yet open to it.
2) Jesus was born “the Spirit of Christ” – he did not have the spirit of Adam.____________

Hi Nick,
1) They use more than one verse to make their assertion, the problem is
they ignore all the verses that contradict their conclusion (just like you).2) There are many verses that corroborate what Micah 5:2 says and none to annul it.

Ed JApril 28, 2016 at 9:04 pm#812899NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
There are no other verses that say what you think Micah says.
That suggests you are wrong in your interpretation.

No Nick,
Micah 5:2 suggests YOU are wrong with your private interpretation of Prophecy.
“no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation” (2 Peter 1:20)“But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah,
yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel;
whose goings forth have been from
of old, from everlasting.” (Micah 5:2)____________

Hi Nick,
Here are just some of the verses that corroborates what Micah 5:2 says:
Bethlehem, the city where Christ was born, means “House of Bread”
“I am the bread which came down from heaven” (John 6:41)“the Father hath sent me” (John 5:36)
“I came down from heaven” (John 6:38)“God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son” (Gal 4:6)
“my Father hath sent me” (John 20:21)
“I came down from heaven” (John 6:42)“Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life” (John 6:35)
“I am the living bread which came down from heaven” (John 6:51)_____________
God bless
