Hi Ed,
Because you have found NO scriptures that SAY THE SAME THING as Micah 5.2 does
you are stuck with a PRIVATE INTERPRETATION by claiming to understand it.
April 27, 2016 at 7:33 am#812770NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
Those who have been beheaded are those who have submitted to the headship of Jesus Christ.
They have accepted and preached the testimony of the new and old testaments.
April 27, 2016 at 7:36 am#812771terrariccaParticipantNick
you should know for the spirit should have told you this ;
Mic 5:2 “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
though you are small among the clans of Judah,
out of you will come for me
one who will be ruler over Israel,
whose origins are from of old,
from ancient times.’”Jn 7:42 Does not the Scripture say that the Christ will come from David’s family and from Bethlehem, the town where David lived?”
Mt 2:4 When he had called together all the people’s chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Christ was to be born.
Mt 2:5 “In Bethlehem in Judea,” they replied, “for this is what the prophet has written:
Mt 2:6 “ ‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah,
are by no means least among the rulers of Judah;
for out of you will come a ruler
who will be the shepherd of my people Israel.’’”it shows you do not are either reborn nor have the spirit

Yes you would think that.
And the messiah was born in Bethlehem as prophesied

You mix up APPOINTMENT
with the anointing.
As do many.

Not true Nick,
I have given you much corroborating evidence, but
in each and every case you were dismissing them outright
because they did not match your preconceived ideas of truth.
And now amnesia has set in and you say I have not shown you any.
But this is not true as I have shown you much corroborating evidence.____________

Ed JApril 27, 2016 at 10:20 am#812785NickHassanParticipantHi ED,
You do not understand 2Cor 13.1 then either.
verses must say the SAME THING to be regarded as proofs.
Corroboration is in the eye of the beholder
April 27, 2016 at 10:22 am#812786Ed JParticipant“I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for
(1)the witness of Jesus,
and for
(2)the word of God”
(Rev 20:4)1. The witness of Jesus
2. “The Word” of GodHi Nick,
So then you agree that they are two different things – good you are making progress then.

God bless

Hi T,
You mix up APPOINTMENT
with the anointing.
As do many.
=============================================================
show me that there was an appointment ?Jesus came at the right time but why was he baptized or was he really baptized ? or just anointed as all king in Israel hat to be ,
but why did he go J the Bt ? Jn 1:26 “I baptize with water,” John replied, “but among you stands one you do not know.
Jn 1:27 He is the one who comes after me, the thongs of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie.”Jn 1:33 I would not have known him, except that the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is he who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’
Jn 1:34 I have seen and I testify that this is the Son of God.”you mist all of this like most do
April 27, 2016 at 10:32 am#812788NickHassanParticipantHi ED,
Jesus told us CHRIST means MESSIAH.
The long awaited prophesied messiah was born in Bethlehem.
April 27, 2016 at 10:45 am#812789NickHassanParticipantHi T,
Did you not realise the messiah was prophesied?
And Jesus was the appointed vessel.
April 27, 2016 at 10:47 am#812790NickHassanParticipantHi T,
Those who had the Spirit recognised him.
Even pagan astrologers knew about him.
But carnal folks still misunderstand
April 27, 2016 at 11:01 am#812793terrariccaParticipantN
christ /messiah/anointed all the same thing
you say; Those who had the Spirit recognised him.
wrong all those that believed in the truth and live by it did wait for him , big difference
April 27, 2016 at 11:04 am#812795NickHassanParticipantHi T,
Are you saying John the Baptist did not have the Spirit?
April 27, 2016 at 11:27 am#812796NickHassanParticipantHi T,
Jn 14.26
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in my name,
He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance
all I have said to you
April 27, 2016 at 12:31 pm#812799terrariccaParticipantNick
the words from Jesus were Not said for John the baptist ,
for he was a born prophet and walked with God all his life ,the spirit that he received was the spirit of a prophet
April 27, 2016 at 12:35 pm#812802NickHassanParticipantHi t,
The testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy.
The Spirit of Christ was in the prophets.
April 27, 2016 at 12:58 pm#812812terrariccaParticipantNick
you have it wrong again you said ;The Spirit of Christ was in the prophets.
how could they have it ,they did not understand what they were writhing ;
but this ;The testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy. ;is correct
but do you understand it ?
April 27, 2016 at 4:13 pm#812829NickHassanParticipantHi t,
Do you now deny 1 Peter 1.11?
April 27, 2016 at 4:28 pm#812831terrariccaParticipantNick
searching for the day of the coming of the anointed one was their concern ,in this way yes their spirit /heart/mind was working for answers ,
but like Jesus said it was for his time disciples that they had prophesied ,not for their time ,
so pay attention to what Peter really says
this is why the angel says in revelation THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS IS THE SPIRIT OF THE PROPHECY ” for each prophet had given some testimony of the coming of the anointed one ,but themselves did not understood what it was ,beside that it was very important ,because it came from God
