Hi ED,
Yes.
But they ARE the ONE Spirit.
No Nick, they are one in Spirit.
1. The Spirit of God
2. The Spirit of ChristTwo spirits – yet one in spirit.
I’m surprised you haven’t even learned this yet.______________
God bless
Ed JApril 26, 2016 at 4:13 pm#812736NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
My challenge to you is to read Romans 8
There you will find:
Spirit of life
The Spirit[9]
Spirit of God[2]
Spirit of Christ
Spirit of him Who raised Christ Jesus
Christ
If you feel there is division please clarify the chapter.

Now there are a variety of gifts, but the same Spirit-for you which?
Please divide this chapter for us too.

Eph 4.4
There is one body and one Spirit-for you which?
April 26, 2016 at 4:20 pm#812739NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
Gal 5.25
If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit
For you which?
April 26, 2016 at 4:36 pm#812740NickHassanParticipantHi ED,
THE SPIRIT is written frequently throughout the NT.
So please clarify if this refers to the Spirit of God or the Spirit of Christ if you think they are divided.

Hi Nick,
Romans 8:9 tells us exactly who the “WE” that Jesus is referring to in John 14:23 is:
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, (1)if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you.
(2)Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.” (Romans 8:9)1. The Spirit of God
2. The Spirit of Christ“That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us:
and truly our fellowship is with ((1)the Spirit of God) the Father, and with
((2)the Spirit of Christ) his Son Jesus Christ.” (1 John 1:3)____________

Hi Nick,
The only thing I need to divide is soul and spirit.
It is the HolySpirit that gives us the gifts,
the spirit of Christ gave us the HolySpirit.____________

Eph 4.4
There is one body and one Spirit-for you which?
“One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.” (Eph 4:6)

Keep guessing.
There are two counsellors but the Spirit is one.
What God has joined together let no man put asunder.

Hi Nick,
It depends on the context, take for example Rev 19:10:
“The Spirit” there is in reference to “the Spirit of Christ”Take for another example 1John 4:6 (“the spirit” is used twice in this verse):
The first time “the spirit” is referring to “The Spirit of God”
The second use “the spirit” is referring to “the Spirit of satan”Context my friend!

Nick,
two counselors = two spirits
God isn’t married to his son.April 26, 2016 at 8:07 pm#812755NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
The Spirit is one and there is no need to apportion different scriptures to different spirits.
The ways of God are totally unlike to those of puny men.
April 26, 2016 at 8:37 pm#812756NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
Jesus spoke of the differing roles of the Spirit of the Father and the Spirit of Christ in the one Spirit in Jn14-16
And you can see times where the servant Spirit of Christ is in action.
That Spirit prays to and worships God in His children.

two spirits Nick,
1. The Spirit of God
2. The Spirit of ChristYou can deny this all you want, but John 14:23 and Rom 8:9 make this abundantly clear

– and –
“The Spirit of God” coming from eternity to Jordanalso make this distinction abundantly clear
April 27, 2016 at 12:37 am#812759Ed JParticipantI have a legitimate question: is what I listed from Revelation 20:4 two
things or are they merely the same thing spoken two different ways
(as you believe is the case of Rom 8:9 despite what John 14:23 says):“I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for
(1)the witness of Jesus,
and for
(2)the word of God”
(Rev 20:4)1. The witness of Jesus
2. “The Word” of GodApril 27, 2016 at 3:27 am#812763NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
Your strong faith in your own observations seems to have stopped your growth.
Listen to the Spirit.
