October 11, 2015 at 12:35 am#803501MiiaParticipantThe Syrians are people too and Jesus told us to LOVE.
‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’
I don’t care what people like Ed appear to teach.

that may be so ;but the majority of muslims do not see anything wrong with what happen to non Muslims for they do not police them and if they become majority in the country they will then accept the power of their own faith and ideology ,this would leave the non muslims to be either convert to islam or die ,and the so called silent majority will not come to rescue any of them ,because to them it is allah’s will,
if you believe otherwise tell me on what do you base your confidence in them ? the Koran is a book of violent people always was and still is ,

you seem to call your brothers your enemies ? could you explain the scripture you are using ? it seams to me you over looked the most important part of it ,

The silent majority are often at the mercy of a noisy minority. There could be a message there for us.
When we are non-active in what we believe, then we have zero impact.

Jn 17:9 I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me,
Jn 17:16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of it.
preaching the kingdom of God in truth is what all true believers should do and make sure they are growing to maturity in the true knowledge of God and his son ,then they would be ready for the coming of Christ whenever it comes ,
for we know that the kingdoms of the world belong to the devil ,but the kingdom of God belongs to all those that believe in him that has send his son ,
this is what i believe

Matthew 25.40. And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’
Who was Jesus addressing?
Those who inherit the kingdom of God.
Who is he calling “my brothers”?Five verses on, Jesus says:
Matthew 25.45 Then he will answer them, saying, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.’
Who was Jesus addressing?
Those who go to destruction.
The words are almost exactly the same, but something is missing. We see the same term “the least of these”, but no “brothers”. Doesn’t that tell us something?Who is Jesus calling his brothers?
Who is “the least of these”.
Does it include those who have been misled?Luke 10, 25-37.
And behold, a lawyer stood up to put him to the test, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” He said to him, “What is written in the Law? How do you read it?” And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.” And he said to him, “You have answered correctly; do this, and you will live.”
But he, desiring to justify himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?” Jesus replied, “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell among thieves, (The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy, Luke 10.10), who stripped him and beat him and departed, leaving him half dead, (I have come that they may have life, (Luke 10.10). Now by chance a priest was going down that road, and when he saw him he passed by one the other side. So likewise a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. But a samaritan, as he journeyed, came to where he was, and when he saw him, he had compassion. He went to him and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he set him on his own animal and brought him to an inn and took care of him. And the next day he took out two denariic and gave them to the innkeeper, saying, ‘Take care of him, and whatever more you spend, I will repay you when I come back.’ Which of these three, do you think, proved to be a neighbor to the man who fell among the robbers?” He said, “The one who showed him mercy.” And Jesus said to him, “You go, and do likewise.”
Ed J convinced me years ago that the Beast of Revelation was Islam and Muslims. But, I soon noticed the changes in me, fruitlessness, and deep emotions behind this view, (example, on “Brother Pete’s site http://www.brotherpete.com/index.php), and no longer believe it because the spirit of God is not behind fear, hatred and anger.
2 Tim 1.7 For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
Matthew 2.12 So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.Matthew 22.34 “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”

Yes they are misled. But isn’t it our job to lead them into life, even if we lose our own life?
