    B) “the spirit of Christ” is the bread that cometh forth out of Heaven.  (ref. John 16:27)

Okay, so your answer to my question is “B”, from the list in my post, right?   :D

Now I'm ready to be EdJucated.

    1.  Is “the spirit of Christ” the spirit of Jesus – in the same way that “the spirit of Ed” is your spirit?

    If not, explain………..

    Hi Mike,

    I would say “yes”

    God bless

So you say.  But what is that first creature's NAME, Wakeup?

    Hi Mike,

I have asked him that too, but he usually doesn't answer my questions :D     …maybe he will answer now that you have asked him?

No such luck.  :)  He won't tell me the name, nor why knowing the ancient heavenly name of God's firstborn son is important to our salvation.

Nor has he given me any reason to think he was named something other than “Jesus” before he emptied himself and was made in the likeness of a human being.

Wakeup preaches HIS doctrine and understanding of scriptures.  That is all fine and good.  But when someone else posts SCRIPTURE that refutes his understanding, he ignores those scriptures and just keeps on preaching that same old understanding that has been scripturally refuted.

It's like he thinks:  If I repeat the same thing enough times, they will come to believe my understanding INSTEAD OF the scriptures they are posting.

    Edj.

Just as your word has no name;so also the Word
    of God has no name.

So then the one named “the Word of God” in Rev 19:13 ISN'T Jesus?   If not Jesus, who is Rev 19:11-16 about?

And when “the Word of God” became flesh (John 1:14), by what NAME was he called while he dwelled among us on earth?

    Mikeb.

    You deliberately confuse the two.
Before he was made flesh, and after He was made flesh.

    1.Before creation His name was not Jesus;
      but the Word of God.

2.After creation,His name was not Jesus.
      But the Word of God.

    3. After He was made flesh,His name is Jesus.

    Okay……….

So from your post we can agree on the fact that “the Word of God” and “Jesus” IS the same exact PERSON.

You believe he didn't have the name “Jesus” until earth, and I believe there isn't any scripture to tell us he wasn't already named “Jesus” BEFORE he came to earth.

Does that sum it up? Or did I miss something?

    Okay. Me too.

So then what do you mean when you say that “the spirit of Christ” said the words of John 6:38?

I mean, is “the spirit of Ed J” somebody completely separate from “Ed J himself”? Is your spirit a completely different entity from you, with a mind and a will of his own?

If not, then it seems to me that if “the spirit of Christ” said the words of John 6:38, it wouldn't mean anything different than “Christ” saying those words.

And after all, John did say that “Jesus” said them, right?

    Explain……………

    Mikeb.

Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son,
***and thou shalt call his name JESUS***:
for he shall save his people from their sins.

Matthew 1:25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son:
***and he called his name JESUS***.

That was is the time when He was called Jesus.

So then the Word of God DOES have a name after all, right? You believe he didn’t USED TO have a name…….. but it seems you agree he DOES have a name now, right?

Now that the site is back up, you can give me the explanation I was asking for in my last post to you.
