Hi KAT,
You say
“Your spirit lives in your body, does that make and your spirit different than you ? No, your still ONE person.”But you tell us that the Spirit of God is another person from God???
October 16, 2009 at 6:36 pm#150898NickHassanParticipantHi KAT,
You say of Jesus Christ
” and he is the image of the invisable God, and all fulness dwells in Him “Indeed the fulness of DEITY DWELLS IN HIM so he is not that Deity and of course there is one God, the Father.
And if he is the IMAGE of God then he is not that God whom he images. The answers to your confusion can be found in the very words you say.
October 16, 2009 at 7:47 pm#150901AnonymousInactiveNo Im saying God is spirit, like we all were a spirit. Our spirit came into a body. The same with God. Jesus is the exact image of the INVISABLE GOD. If we were all a spirit we could not be seen either until we were in a body. right? God came in the flesh (scripture clearly tells us that in John)to die for our sins. He knew what He was going to go threw all along, but He did it any way so we could have a Saviour. I dont think it sounds like very many have the relationship they are suppose to have with Christ, when without Him you have no eternal life. No other way for salvation. Its all over the bible. He is who we will spend eternity with. He is the creator. Matthew 5:8 tells us, Blessed are the pure in heart; fOR THEY SHALL SEE GOD! If He did not become flesh, how will we see Him than? I even quotted you scripture about Jesus saying; He will be our God and we will be His sons. Why does the bible tell us He(Emmanuel) is “God with us”. Why is He called The Almighty, Prince of Peace, our Heavenly Father. KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS? Matthew 15:8 (jESUS SAYING;)This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honour me with their lips but their hearts are far from me. I have probably quotted you a good 30 scriptures in the last week and you still look over them. We'll theres my answer again. God Bless!
October 16, 2009 at 8:08 pm#150904NickHassanParticipantHi KAT,
Is that scriptural or new age?
Why don't you stop quoting scripture in support of your ideas and learn from it?October 16, 2009 at 9:51 pm#150929AnonymousInactiveIts all scriptual and I showed you were, you are totally ignoring them, thats your own loss!!
October 16, 2009 at 10:02 pm#150931NickHassanParticipantHi KAT,
Scripture does not say that God is a binity or a trinity.[…….]
God is the Father and God of Jesus.[Jn20.17]
He should be yours too.October 17, 2009 at 2:03 am#150986AnonymousInactiveNick maybe this will help you -The Trinity is one God existing in three Persons. Understand that this is not in any way suggesting three Gods. Keep in mind when studying this subject that the word “Trinity” is not found in Scripture. This is a term that is used to attempt to describe the triune God—three coexistent, co-eternal Persons who make up God. Of real importance is that the concept represented by the word “Trinity” does exist in Scripture. The following is what God’s Word says about the Trinity:
1) There is one God (Deuteronomy 6:4; 1 Corinthians 8:4; Galatians 3:20; 1 Timothy 2:5).
2) The Trinity consists of three Persons (Genesis 1:1, 26; 3:22; 11:7; Isaiah 6:8, 48:16, 61:1; Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14). In Genesis 1:1, the Hebrew plural noun Elohim is used. In Genesis 1:26, 3:22, 11:7 and Isaiah 6:8, the plural pronoun for “us” is used. The word Elohim and the pronoun “us” are plural forms, definitely referring in the Hebrew language to more than two. While this is not an explicit argument for the Trinity, it does denote the aspect of plurality in God. The Hebrew word for God, Elohim, definitely allows for the Trinity

Thank you admitting that the bible is not the source of your so called knowledge.
Instead it comes from a gnostic source, the catholic communion. What you teach is not written.
NO TRINITY
NOT SEVERAL PERSONS IN A COMMUNITY GOD
Wake upOctober 17, 2009 at 12:54 pm#151086AnonymousInactiveNO its what I already know and have been trying to tell you. I thought it was a better way of explaining it to you. And that post and I have gave you scripture showing you- but you seem to be so blind. How about we just stop posting to each other?
October 17, 2009 at 6:05 pm#151119NickHassanParticipantHi KAT,
Is it blindness to only accept only what scripture teaches?
Is it sight to grasp what originated in the minds of men?
You must be born again to see the kingdom of God.October 17, 2009 at 9:16 pm#151167AnonymousInactiveI know that Nick! I am born again!
October 17, 2009 at 11:36 pm#151223NickHassanParticipantHi KAT,
So if you are reborn of the Spirit of God why do you prefer the ideas of men to those of God?October 18, 2009 at 8:30 pm#151322bodhithartaParticipantQuote (katjo @ Oct. 17 2009,14:03) Nick maybe this will help you -The Trinity is one God existing in three Persons. How many persons are God?
Does each of these persons have a will?October 18, 2009 at 11:19 pm#151331AnonymousInactiveBoditharta- THANK YOU!!
October 19, 2009 at 12:13 am#151336GeneBalthropParticipantKaito………the word GOD is a Hebrew (UNI=PLURAL) WORD)………..It means (POWERS) The seven Spirits of GOD represent These POWER ATTRIBUTES They ALL represent (ONE) GOD. (UNI=PLURAL WORD) You have no proof that the word GOD means two, three, for or thousands. It is just a assumption there are three Gods, not found anywhere in any scripture, so why believe it or teach it then. IMO

So you do see that multiple wills would show plurality?October 19, 2009 at 5:42 pm#152105AnonymousInactiveHow many times has someone said we do not believe in 3 Gods. You should know what the trinity is and know it does not mean 3 Gods, since you where a Catholic right? Were they worshipping 3 Gods? Scripture says with our own eyes shall we see God!!)huh)
October 19, 2009 at 5:48 pm#152106NickHassanParticipantHi KAT,
There is no trinity god or gods in scripture.
But many choose to base their faith on catholic ideas rather than scriptureOctober 19, 2009 at 7:01 pm#152118AnonymousInactiveThat wouldnt be me than would it Nick! I have given plenty of scriptures! Try studying some of them.
October 19, 2009 at 8:32 pm#152126NickHassanParticipantHi Kat,
Which ones tell us Jesus was part of a trinity and sent himself to tell the world?
Can you know your multiperson god?
Does your trinity god love you?Thou shalt not have strange gods before me are the words of the one true God.
