Mick……..Can't you see how these deluded Trinitarians keep you spinning around in circles going not where. You and I and Jesus and all true “Christians” Know full well there is only (ONE) True GOD. That is GOD the FATHER of US as well as Jesus our Brother, who worshiped Him as we are too. These deluded Trinitarians take up time pounding the air. Dragging us into their go no where discourse, They have no short scriptural statements the back them up so the give the never ending long discourse to spin there “MYSTERY” religions. Contradicting themselves all the time. Then try to say things we are not even saying, in order to breed confusions Just like their religions are. A waste of time. IMO

October 11, 2009 at 5:34 pm#149748NickHassanParticipantHi TT,
Did the nature of God change with the arrival of Jesus and now a new trinity god became apparent that included the one who came in his Father's name?
Or do you also worship the God of Jesus and the Jews?October 11, 2009 at 6:06 pm#149750ConstitutionalistParticipantQuote (thethinker @ Oct. 10 2009,20:10) Genesis 16:7-16 Quote An agel of the LORD found her by a spring of water in the wilderness, the spring on the road to Shur, 8. and said, “Hagar, slave of Sarai, where have you come from, and where are you going?” And she said, “I am running away from my mistress Sarai.” 9. And the angel of the LORD said to her, “Go back to your mistress, and submit to her harsh treatment.” 10. And the angel of the LORD said to her, “I will greatly increase your offspring, and they shall be too many to count.” “And the angel of the LORD said to her, “I will greatly increase your offspring..” … Does that sound familiar? It should — that’s exactly what the LORD our GOD promised father Abraham. How can an angel speak in the first person so as if he is not just speaking for GOD, but is speaking as GOD?
Immediately after the angel leaves, Hagar praises the LORD, saying “You Are El-roi,” by which she meant, says the Tanakh, “Have I not gone on seeing after He saw me!” There’s this interesting phrase that appears quite often in the footnotes of the Tanakh — “meaning of Hebrew uncertain.” This notates Hagar’s exclamation above. Is the meaning really so uncertain? Who is worried about dying because GOD has spoken with and seen them? …Isn’t it usually the other way around — men think they will die for having seen GOD (or in this case, for seeing GOD’s presence in the angel of the LORD)? Why would Hagar say, “Have I not gone on seeing after He saw me!” … I find it quite likely Hagar was astonished that she was still alive after seeing and speaking with GOD… who appeared to her as this “angel of the LORD.” This angel of the LORD spoke as GOD and not for GOD. He did not say ‘the LORD says.’ He said, “I will greatly increase your offspring.”
I would like to know where in the Holy Scriptures where it says GOD cannot appear as a man.”

Even when you put the proof in front of there face they still over look it. Too many scriptures would contradict each other trying to see the word as they do. Whether they believe in the trinity or not, I know they better be having there own personal relationship with Jesus. Because if you dont than you cannot have the Holy spirit, and the body without the Holy Spirit is dead. God Bless!
October 11, 2009 at 6:28 pm#149752GeneBalthropParticipantThinker……….CT has just explained it to you, clearly , What more don't you understand about that subject. NO MAN HAS SEEN GOD AT (ANY) TIME PERIOD. Accept this so we can move forward, and stop mudding the waters of truth.

There is no trinity in the bible so what is your foundation?October 11, 2009 at 6:36 pm#149754GeneBalthropParticipantKato………relying on you “great” Scholar won't cut it in the end, specifically, if they are of the TRINITARIAN persuasions. Blind leading the blind goes no where but into a ditch. You remind me of CA with his traditions and Church translations made up by His popes and trinitarian translators. Dump the garbage and come to the light of Truth. IMO

October 12, 2009 at 2:43 am#149809NickHassanParticipantHi KAT,
There is no trinity taught in scripture so that is not your foundation.
Do you think God rates those you called GREAT MEN in another post, who cherish this catholic dogma?October 12, 2009 at 2:47 am#149810AnonymousInactiveGene, so you know more than all the Scholars, ordained Preachers do?
October 12, 2009 at 2:52 am#149811NickHassanParticipantHi Kat,
So these carnal men are your leaders and not Jesus?October 12, 2009 at 2:56 am#149812NickHassanParticipantHi KAT,
Jesus chose unlearned fishermen to be his teachers in matters of faith.
His grace works best in the non experts and God shuns the wise for the faithful.
But you think church leaders are inspired by God and are not brave enough to seek God?October 12, 2009 at 3:02 am#149813AnonymousInactiveJesus didnt need teaching!
October 12, 2009 at 3:03 am#149814GeneBalthropParticipantKatjo……….I certainty know better then The Trinitarians who Blaspheme GOD by saying there are three triune GODS, Your Scholars all built upon each others lies, nothing but off shoots of Gnosticism and Greek Platonism . Who believe there is a multiplicity of GOD. But GOD said “YOU SHALL HAVE NO OTHER GOD BESIDES ME. HE also said there is (NO) OTHER GOD BESIDES HIM. What part of His words you don't understand , not to mention Jesus HIMSELF said in Prayer to that (ONE) GOD, “for tho art the (ONLY) TRUE GOD”. Now pleas tell us why your so-called Scholars can't figure that out. Kato relying on other men instead of GOD and Jesus will lead to confusion. Come out of all that garbage and Learn from Christ Jesus and TRUE SAINTS> Don't go the way of the many or you might fall into the same ditch their in.

Then show us the words he said about true worshipers in Jn4.
Does that include you or are you following the traditions of men?Choose today Whom you will serve

Kat,
Hang in there my friend. The Messenger clearly identified Himself as the God of Moses' fathers (Exodus 3). He promised Hagar that He Himself would multiply her seed (Genesis 16). And Jehovah Himself said that the Messenger shares the name Jehovah (Exodus 23:20-21).The Messenger was our wonderful Lord and Savior Jesus Christ BEFORE He became flesh. Don't allow Gene's and Nick's goo goo ga ga confuse you.
