Hi Wakeup, Why do you invent questions to answer, ones that I DID NOT ASK?I did NOT ask you
“do you have the spirit of Christ in you”and I did NOT ask you
“do you have to wait until the resurrection to be spirit”Now will you P-L-E-A-S-E just answer my simple question?
Do you have God's divine nature in you now? YES or NO? (<– this is a very simple question)
God bless

EdJ.Understand what you read.
Galatians 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
Walking *IN* the spirit does not mean that you are spirit.
You will be born again in spirit at the resurrection.
Jesus was not born again at his baptism. Is HE?
Was He not born again; before His baptism?
Please tell me.wakeup.

Jesus was the first created spirit child.
Agreed. And which did God create first, spirit things, or flesh things? It was spirit things, right?
No Mike, this verse is in contradiction with your current belief:“Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which
is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.” (1 Cor 15:46)
Ed,You are using a completely different teaching that was made in a completely different context to refute another teaching. Not a good idea.
Ed, which did God create first……… the angels, or mankind?
Are the angels flesh? Or spirit?
Therefore, God created spirit things before He ever created flesh things.
But thanks for bringing attention to one of my posts that Wakeup never addressed.

God's divine nature until you are resurrected?
Ed,The teaching Jesus gave to Nicodemus is about being born of something other than flesh in order to see or enter the kingdom of heaven.
This must be a LITERAL rebirth of spirit, and not flesh.
Don't confuse this with the metaphorical “born again” that comes from giving your fleshly life over to serving God and His Christ.
Wakeup is talking about the LITERAL “born again”, and not the METAPHORICAL one.

Nick. Then you dont understand Jesus speech.
He was very clear and straight.Born of water=flesh; born of spirit=spirit.
Why can you not understand?
wakeup.
Wakeup,The teaching is that flesh gives birth to flesh. Those who are born again from above will be born of spirit AND water.
I assume this refers to the heavenly life-giving waters that flow from the thrones of God and His Lamb. Or some other kind of heavenly water.
