You are referring to Rev. 17:3; A beast is a world kingdom or government, the seven heads on this beast represent the seven world empires; the fact that the woman/religion is shown “sitting” on this beast, shows that all kingdoms have been influenced by their religion.
The scarlet color of this beast is synonymous with the red dragon the Devil, Rev. 12:3, it shows that he, Satan, is the power behind all worldly kingdoms.

Then in 1918 it appeared again, came out of the bottomless pit, meaning, it was implemented again, “THE LEAGUE OF NATION”.
As the Bible says, it did not last long, till 1946, v. 10.
But, as the Bible says also, out of it came the eighth, v. 11; “THE UNITED NATION”.
We have been living in the days of these kings since 1946, Dan. 2:44.

terraricca………….You do have a point, I have thought that also, There is a time period after the 1000 year reign of Jesus and the Saints , the seem to indicate this and I believe can confuse some who think all the Violence and tribulations take place before the Millennium rule of Christ. IMO

A “BEAST” is never referred to Satan; Satan however is the power behind all worldly beasts/kingdoms/governments, Rev. 13:2.
Satan's powers have not ceased to exist at any time; they will be stopped for a 1000 years when Christ will rule the world.

Rev. 17:2 is in fact referring to the church in Rome, the RCC.

The Bible says, the eighth is of the seven, referring to the seven heads, verse 3. Have you figured out who the seven heads are? They are the seven empires of the Bible.
In verse 10 it says, “five are fallen”; who were they?
The Greek empire,
The Medo-Persian empire,
The Babylonian empire,
The Assyrian empire, and
The Egyptian empire.
And then the Bible says, “and one is”; who is the one that is, or was? it was “The ROMEN empire”, the six-st head.
What did all these empires represent? WORLD RULING GOVERNMENTS, not the entire world obviously, the worlds they had conquered.
What was the intention of “THE LEAGUE OF NATION”?
What is the intention of “THE UNITED NATION”?
When did the “League of Nation” come into existence, and how long did it last?
When, and how, did the “United Nation” come into existence?
Is it not the same as the “League of Nation”, the seventh head? That's why the Bible says, the eighth is of the seven.
