ParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ May 07 2007,16:18) Hi 94,
Surely you are among those in the first resurrection who do not face that judgement having passed over from death to life. Judgement according to works in Matt 25 is the last hope of the mercy of God for those who are not found among the sons of God in the millenium.
Hi Nick:The judgment for a Christian is not guilty. However, we will go before the judgment seat of Christ to receive whatever rewards are due us.
2 Co 5:10
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.Why would God be interested in the breathe that gives your body life? He is interested in what you have done in this body.
Also, I may have a different understanding relative to what I hear the church teach about the millenium. I'll search to see if there is a thread on this subject.
God Bless

Indeed .
But that judgement of reward for the sons of God is shown before the general and second judgement which is after the millenium.May 7, 2007 at 10:18 pm#51611942767

Hi Nick:“When” is another subject. I'll have to study what is said about the millenium before I can discuss this.

Some would say the servant of God
was also the God Whom he served.
Amazing.February 14, 2008 at 8:21 am#81425NickHassan
ParticipantHi,
Interesting.
KJV refuses to allow Jesus to be called a servant sometimes in the NT.
Acts 3
13The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his SON Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.Acts 3
26Unto you first God, having raised up his SON Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.Acts 4
27For of a truth against thy holy CHILD Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,Acts 4
30By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy CHILD Jesus.NASB and NIV use
SERVANT
in these places
So
Number 3816
Transliteration:
pais {paheece}
Word Origin:
perhaps from 3817
TDNT:
5:636,759
Part of Speech:
noun masculine
Usage in the KJV:
servant 10, child 7, son (Christ) 2, son 1, manservant 1, maid 1, maiden 1, young man 1Total: 24
But look at the verse in Is 42
'1Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.quoted by Jesus in the KJV in Matt 12 as
18Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.
Sometimes the inconsistency is frustrating and you do wonder about bias.

ParticipantHi,
Jesus is the servant of God.
We should serve Christ if we would serve God.Matthew 10:40
” He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.Matthew 20:28
just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”Luke 17:8
“But will he not say to him, ' Prepare something for me to eat, and properly clothe yourself and serve me while I eat and drink; and afterward you may eat and drink'?Luke 22:27
“For who is greater, the one who reclines at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines at the table? But I am among you as the one who serves.February 8, 2009 at 8:05 pm#120815GeneBalthrop
ParticipantNick…….wrong we should serve the FATHER as Jesus Served the FATHER, Jesus is not our GOD. Your priorities are wrong brother. Serious problem brother.

To serve the Gardener we serve the vine.
Dead branches are useless.February 8, 2009 at 8:23 pm#120822NickHassan
ParticipantHi,
Abiding in the vine and in the words of Jesus brings blessings
“John 15:7
“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.February 8, 2009 at 8:58 pm#120830GeneBalthrop
ParticipantNick……where you fall down is you fail to see the Word Jesus spoke were (NOT) his words. ” for the words i am telling you are not (MINE) but the words of Him who sent Me”. So who's words were they really Nick. And by the way the FATHER also Prunes away all the Branches in us the bear not fruit also, the same as he does Jesus.

ParticipantGB,
The vine is not the Gardener. You should not ignore his words about himself but honour him
Jn5
23That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent himFebruary 8, 2009 at 9:17 pm#120836GeneBalthrop
ParticipantNick…….the vine by itself means nothing its the Life flowing through it that give it (the vine ) life, not the vine itself. The life flowing through is the SPIRIT of GOD HIMSELF. And honor is one thing but making Jesus your GOD is quite another. WE are called to come alongside Jesus not under his feet as he plainly showed His disciples .

ParticipantNick…..WE are part of the vine and the same life flows through the whole vine not just part of it. ONE GOD in all and through all. He is the true life of the vine and its branches. IMo

ParticipantHi,
Lk20
9He went on to tell the people this parable: “A man planted a vineyard, rented it to some farmers and went away for a long time. 10At harvest time he sent a servant to the tenants so they would give him some of the fruit of the vineyard. But the tenants beat him and sent him away empty-handed. 11He sent another servant, but that one also they beat and treated shamefully and sent away empty-handed. 12He sent still a third, and they wounded him and threw him out.
13″Then the owner of the vineyard said, 'What shall I do? I will send my son, whom I love; perhaps they will respect him.'14″But when the tenants saw him, they talked the matter over. 'This is the heir,' they said. 'Let's kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.' 15So they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him.
