The Resurrection

Hi,
The sons of God are the sons of the resurrection. This is the first resurrection. They are raised in the same way as the Son of God, by the faithful Spirit of God indwelling them from the moment of their rebirth and despite their physical death, unto forever. Those who do not share that Spirit cannot be raised in the first resurrection into the Millenial kingdom.

15 For this we are saying to you by the word of the Lord, that we, the living, who are surviving to the presence of the Lord, should by no means outstrip those who are put to repose,
16 for the Lord Himself will be descending from heaven with a shout of command, with the voice of the Chief Messenger, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ shall be rising first,
17 Thereupon we, the living who are surviving, shall at the same time be snatched away together with them in clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. And thus shall we always be together with the Lord.
18 So that, console one another with these words.

Notice: “Thereupon we, the living who are surviving, shall at the same time be snatched away together with them in clouds”

Are the living part of the first reurrection? You need to study scripture more ernestly.

There is only one group that God calls THE LIVING and those are the ones who are ALIVE IN HIS SPIRIT.

This includes many great men of the OT

Matthew 22:32
I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

1Cor 15
22For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

23But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

24Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

The END includes the second resurrection and the judgement of the nations.

The correct translation for verse 24:

24 thereafter the consummation, whenever He may be giving up the kingdom to His God and Father, whenever He should be nullifying all sovereignty and all authority and power.

An incorrect translation that you use says …”Then cometh the end,”

There will be no “END”, only the “consummation” the completeing of Gods “creation”, then He (God) will be “All in all”.

Wakeup……..Good point Fire indeed in scriptures can mean “INTENSE JUDGEMENT” , which can cause the dross to come to the surface so it can be removes leaving what is left pure. Even our Law function as a fire to bring to surface the evil even in this world.

Yes; but there are only a few with no dross.
They are the ones that follow the Lamb wheresoever He goes.

They came OUT OF the great tribulation.
Are they the saved who have been taken up in the first resurrection?
