    AndrewAD,

Youtube is not necessarily a reliable source. Test the spirit of what you hear. Offhand I believe Joyner and Bentley are both heretics. The rest could be true as well as it does not change my view at all.

NZer Andrew Strom made warning videos on the Toronto blessing/ Bentley/ Joyner etc (Kundalini Warning). Too creepy to watch. Don’t even watch it.

Kerwin,I already tested what I heard from them many years ago before I had a computer or Youtube existed. You can see what I say is on Youtube in the flesh-that is Joyner and Wagner appointing Bentley as an Apostle,as well as their all their silly antics, and the Knights of Malta knighting! How is Youtube not a reliable source for these false prophets? Are you saying the Youtube videos are false actors or something of that effect? I’ve seen these “prophets”on live tv and some I’ve seen in person and read their published books. You and most people here don’t even believe people go to heaven after death yet Joyner has written books about the people he claims to have seen in heaven-he’s a manipulating, fear mongering false prophet! And I’m not ashamed or fearful of saying it! Youtube is a reliable source to see these charlatans. It’s there on video!

One thing all these charlatans have in common is that God is not sovereign until you speak against their ministry-then God has every right to kill you as he did Ananias and Sapphira,Korah or whomever. How convenient!

    Andrew,

If it is their own and words you are going by then you have a good source. Hearsay is questionable.

    Kerwin and AndrewAD.

You both made some bold claims here and people who make these kinds of claims should back them up with clear evidence, otherwise they should be silent in the matter, or say it is a suspicion or mere opinion.

AndrewAD, you said that Rick Joyner is a false prophet. You then said for me to google it and do my own research. But I am not the one who made the accusation, so I don’t need to do that, it is you who needs to provide the proof because you made the statement. So please provide the proof that you have based your statement on. Or did you make that statement based on a quick google search yourself. If so, then may I remind you that hearsay, rumour, and gossip which are destructive. As a man of God, we should give proof or good reasons as to what we believe and should give clear reasons as to why we teach as we do.

Same for you Kerwin. Please provide solid proof that he is a Heretic. Telling me to do a google search will not suffice either, not that you have said that yet.

Top both of you. I could google “George Bush is a Reptilian” and there would be links to a number of sites that have so-called proof that he is a shapeshifting alien, but that is not proof is it. There will always or almost always be affirmative sites based on your google search sp it proves nothing.

So to both of you, provide the proof of source of for your statements. I would like to see what led you to say this about the man.

Also, I am not a fan of the Vineyards and Laughing Movement, etc myself. But I would never condemn all who were involved. If we were all without spot and blemish, then Christ could take his Church now, but there is much to be done before then.

    @AndrewAd, you said:

You and most people here don’t even believe people go to heaven after death yet Joyner has written books about the people he claims to have seen in heaven

I was shown Heaven and the River of LIfe when I was about 21 years of age. It is a true saying that God has things so wonderful that we cannot even conceive of them. Am I a charlatan because God showed me Heaven. I was a young man who against all the odds of his upbringing and friends he kept, actually repented of his sins and dedicated his life to God. God rewarded me by taking me to the place where the River of Life flows. It was beautiful and wonderful beyond belief. It made me want to live for God for the rest of my life. I was given proof. I tasted of the age to come as it is written.

What I saw was what John saw and wrote about in the Book of Revelation. He saw the River of Life and the Tree of Life and the City. While I did not see the City, what I saw was so wonderful I stopped travelling up the River of Life because it was more intense as I was getting closer to the source and I was not mature enough to handle anymore.

So if God showed me Heaven and the River of Life in a similar manner as to John who did not even know if he was in the body or not, then are we both liars or deceivers in a similar way you think Rick Joyner is?

    Hi Miia

They claim to be in contact with the spirit of Christ, what makes you think they are not?
You claim to be in contact with the spirit of Christ, what makes you think they are not?

Do you have a test to determine if it’s Christ’s spirit that they are interacting with?
I have a simple test to find out easily, just ask the spirit what they think of me.

    A very simple test

No T8 you don’t need to google Joyner,as i said if you want to believe him have at it.Neither do I need to make a bunch of quotes or give a bunch of links.I gave reasons for my opinions already.Perhaps someone else may care to investigate him and his cohorts for themselves and if they want to they can.

You say you had a vision of heaven and that is fine but you don’t claim to have seen and talked with people in heaven do you? Joyner does and i recommend everyone read his book The Final Quest.I haven’t read the book but I have read reviews of it.And I do think it’s at my local library.

Do I condemn everyone involved in the laughing revivals? Of course not, neither do I condemn trinitarians.Fact is I have had many personal laughing revivals, many while reading on this site even.I can even bark like a dog and snort like a pig,and God gives me this ability and spiritual release.

And yes T8 you might be a false prophet and I might be one too! 🙂 Only God knows!

But I did speak from my heart as to these new apostles which I mentioned and I do have personal experience as to how their teachings affect people.Of course their devoted followers would accuse me of not properly understanding them and perhaps of even being led astray by the devil for not believing them and for calling them false prophets, teachers etc. To each his own I guess;we all have our own experiences which our opinions and bias are based on.

    @AndrewAD

My point is this. If we make a claim about a person being a false prophet or even a true one, then we need to back it up. If we cannot or will not, we should not make the claim in the first place.

That is all I am saying. Otherwise if we do not do that,  and believe people at their word each time, then we could be deceived and hurt people’s reputation unnecessarily.

There will always be people against people and people will dislike other for the silliest of reasons sometimes. I could google any person in a negative or positive way and get two sets of results. It proves nothing.

Further, many have been falsely accused and suffer as the result of lies. As Believers we need to be better than that. After all, we are instructed in the Commandments to not bear false witness against others.

Paul warned Believers about certain people who crept in to fold. He wasn’t superstitious and based it on feelings, rather he gave reasons for what he said.

I hope that people do not go around and call me a false prophet or false teacher for example. I would rather they confront me and try to help me if they had concerns about me. I would listen and evaluate their words and pray about it. Talking behind people’s backs is not fair and inputs bias and sometimes even hate for others they have never met.

Fair is fair. If good evidence is presented as to why he is false, I will listen.

So would appreciate that evidence, after all, I quoted him, and if he is false, I will remove his quote,

T8,in your honest opinion is Joyner a true prophet? You are the one who quoted him on your site.Is that true or not? You did quote him right? will you deny that as hearsay? I think I read that from you but maybe it wasn’t really you who quoted him. Why did you quote his “religious spirts” quote? what was your motivation in that? was it because you liked how it sounds to support your own views when Joyner didn’t mean it with the same intentions you do? Is Joyner an anti-trinitarian like you? Do you even know that T8? Can you answer me that simple question please? Can you be honest? you quote this man but don’t know where he stands on issues you make a big deal out of such as trinity?

Perhaps Joyner made this “religious spirit” statement to show that what people have been taught is all wrong but what he says is the truth. And is that just how you take it too only with a different motivation? maybe your”truth” isn’t the same as his. Did Jesus ever preach while he was on earth that if you give him money God would bless you and make you rich in this life? That “the wealth of the wicked is laid up for the just”in this life. Was Jesus “gospel to the poor” that they would be made monetarily rich in this world by giving what little money they had to him? Maybe it was?-we all have to decide and interpret for ourselves.

    That one’s in there…

Sure Ed “that one is in there” and it’s one of the money preachers favorites. In fact it’s one of their greatest prophetical verses:how in these end times God is transferring the wealth of the wicked to the just. And they have proof this is true by the the million dollar mansions they live in and their God given wealth comes from the “wicked” or wicket sheep whose minds have been twisted by their teachings to give them money based on “God’s promises “. God is no respecter of persons”God made me rich” and he’ll do the same for you if you trust him and send me your money. It’s so sweet isn’t it! and god shows his approval because it’s fact these prophets live a high life in mansions and have coffee with Jesus every morning and maybe even a shot of expensive liquor every night. Blessed are the poor who make these prophets rich!

    Hi AndrewAD,

Twisting verses to make them say
what they don’t say is common practice.
I thought you knew that – of course you do.
The bible instead needs to understood as a whole.

T8,in your honest opinion is Joyner a true prophet? You are the one who quoted him on your site.Is that true or not?

Let me remind you that this site is for testing of all things right.

So if Joyner is quoted, then his quote is up for critique which it is. People quote all kinds of people here and put up discussions on all kinds of people. The motto for the site is to test all things.

Do I believe he is a true prophet? I don’t know enough about the man as I said before. I gave evidence where he supposedly prophesied correctly earlier on in this discussion and then asked you for direct evidence where he prophesied falsely in order for you to support the critique you gave. But none was forth-coming. If you gave me clear evidence of such, then I am a reasonable man and can accept such evidence if is good enough.

Claiming that he is a knight of Malta or he laughed in a meeting doesn’t cut it for me. I believed in the Trinity once and God was with me. But he led me to where I am today. At no point in my walk was I false, but we are all moving toward the light, and one day we will be without spot and blemish. That day is not now though.

The world is full of people who bear false witness of others and many are in prison for example based on the false witness of others. Slander comes in many forms.

For Believers, I think we should be better than that. Making harsh judgements based on things that you do not like is not always wise. We should save them for things that are clearly wrong.

Don’t get me wrong though, I do not believe the laughing phenomenon was of God myself, far from it, but I am not going to make a blanket statement that all who have been involved in it are false teachers, false prophets, or unsaved people. That would be as foolish as declaring that nothing good can come out of Nazareth or that all Samaritans are bad people. Both those views where actually held by people. We should be better than that.

Yes I am better than that and now I am better than to believe these prosperity preachers who fleece the sheep to show how”God’s promises’ are true.I have tested these”spirits” and find them clearly wrong and false.
