Hi Marty,
It was Jesus' body that was resurrected after three days. His body was the “temple.” He asked His Father to receive His spirit when His body died. Does the Bible tell us that His spirit was “resurrected?”April 24, 2010 at 3:10 am#188591942767ParticipantQuote (Lightenup @ April 24 2010,14:44) Hi Marty,

Hi LU:His spirit was with God until he was raised from the dead by God. When he died, he said: “Father into thy hands I comend my spirit”.
Can a spirit be resurrected?
We have the following scripture.
Quote Romans 1:3Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; 4And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:
It is through the spirit of holiness that Jesus was declared righteous. The spirit of holiness is the life that Jesus lived in obedience to God. And so, I would say no because the spirit did not die but went to God.
Love in Christ,

We follow the man Jesus Christ.April 24, 2010 at 2:44 pm#188611uoflfanParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ April 18 2010,05:15) Hi,
There is no God but one.
For us there is one God.Any vessel God uses does not become Him.
1Cor 8:6
6 Yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom are all things and we exist for Him;and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him.
7 However not all men have this knowledge…..If you believe in one God who is the Father and His son who is the Christ and our Lord then you have got it right
