Hi TT,
Yes.
The Day of the Lord.March 31, 2009 at 4:36 am#126075GeneBalthropParticipantThinker……….there is a thousand year rule of Jesus and the Saints on the earth and the after that Evil will be released again on the earth. Nick is right on that Point and has Posted scripture to back it up brother. The other point of when Peter said a day is as a a thousand years and a thousand years is as a day is God the FATHERS way of gaging time. He has alloted seven thousand years for the completion of His plan involving Mans present state. There remains one thousand years left to completions of it as Nick brought out.

There will be more than the saints present during this time.
Natural men shall survive the tribulation.
Nick…….yes there will be more then saints in the thousand year period, who do you think they and Jesus are going to reign over. But the point is what happened to all the people at the end after a thousand years of rule by Jesus and the saints , They all fall away and gather into a great Arny and encompasses the Saints and Jesus at Jerusalem and fire comes down from GOD and devours then. So what point is proved by this , is it not that no matter How much good teaching and influenceing there is you will not remain rightious unless GOd the Father is in you. When He removed Evil from the World, Evil could no longer influence the inhabitance and they only had Jesus and the Saints influencing them and they conformed to them, until Evil was reintroduced into the world again and imideatley they all became evil. SO whats the point, it is simple that unless GOD'S Spirits are in you, you will not maintain rightiousness even if you were feed true rightiousness for a thousand years, GOD the FATHER Proves His POINT. BY the thousand year period, He closes all mouths by it. IMO

Isa 9:7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
I mean, especially this part, (“Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end,”).
Georg
Georg,
This scripture does not teach that the Son's rule is endless in time. Paul said that the Son would yield the kingdom to the Father. So His reign cannot be endless in time.An earthly king's reign was limited in its SCOPE, that is, it was limited to a certain geographical area and limited to a certain people. But this is not the case with Christ's reign. His reign extends to all geographical areas and He reigns over all peoples. This is what is meant in the saying “of the INCREASE of His rule there shall be NO END.
It was referring to the SCOPE of His reign. Christ's reign is endless in reference to the boundaries and the subjects under Him.
thinker
ThinkerIs. 9:7 is not speaking of the reign of Christ, it is speaking of the increase of God's kingdom, his government.

GeneWhen Satan is loosed at the end of the millennium, it is for a final test for all mankind; but mainly for those that were born during the millennium, and had never experienced the deceitful powers of Satan. They had to be tested if their loyalty to God was true, and only those that follow Satan will be destroyed.
The saints, which already proven their loyalty by sacrificing their life for the truth, are in no danger of the second death.
Satan, who has the power over death, will be the last to be destroyed; after that, no more sin, no more death.Georg
March 31, 2009 at 3:11 pm#126124GeneBalthropParticipantGeorg……..It shows that virtually all the world will follow the EVIL, except for the Saints and Jesus, Why? would be a good question here, was it not because the saints and Jesus could (NOT) be decieved because GOD the Father was in them via His Holy Spirit. But the rest of the world did not have His Spirit in them and even through they were instructed in a perfect Government , for a thousand years they still virtually all went after the Evil once it was released. This proves a Great point , and that point is that unless GOD abides in a person forever they can not maintain righteousness apart from Him. IMO

There will be a great number of people fallen for Satan's deception, as the bible says, but it is not the majority. The saints, and Jesus, wont even be tested, they are beyond reproach. God's Holy Spirit will be available to all, but what I believe will be crucial is, how strong is your faith in what will be taught? when temptation, Satan, is presented, will you resist?

Hi Georg,
Genesis 1 is not the beginning of all things but just the beginning of the restoration of goodness in heaven and on earth. Evil had been found among the angelic beings and Satan who had access to heaven[jb1] and whom one third of the angels serve[Rev12]had stolen the earth becoming it's god.The rescue plan for the stolen earth and the infiltrated heaven involved the use of a new and even lowlier new creation- man of earth- who was created to shame the mighty angels such that they will become even servants of the human sons of God[heb1]
God will restore all things under His rule through His Son, born of man, in whom we too can find the reward he won.

Just answer me one little question.
“When did Jesus knew he had to die for us?”Georg
April 1, 2009 at 8:44 pm#126264NickHassanParticipantHi georg,
Jesus came to do the will of God and was aware of the consequences of that service.
He was the expected prophet told his apostles of his future demise.April 1, 2009 at 10:57 pm#126294CindyParticipantNick
My question was, when did Jesus know? here is the answer you should have given.
Rev 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
“From the foundation of the earth”, in other words, before creation. God told Jesus about his plan, and he knew, not only that some of the angels would rebel, but that man would sin also. The only way man could be saved was by a sacrifice of some one that was free of sin, that did not originate from man, and that is where Jesus comes in.
Neither, the rebellion of angels, nor the sinning of man, came as a surprise to God. Jesus was not ordered by the Father to do what he did, but once he excepted the assignment he did obey the Father to the end.Georg

NickThe beast that this scripture speaks of was the Roman empire.
What is an empire? a king that conquers other kings, and rules over them. Rome was the largest empire of them all; you could say, Rome ruled the world.
After 565, only the eastern half of the empire remained, that is why the bible says, “the beast/empire that you saw was, and is no more”.
An empire is nothing more than a world ruling government, and it is this type of government that would ascend out of nowhere, or the bottomless pit, as the “LEAGUE OF NATION”.
As you know, the league of nation only lasted from 1918 til 1946, a short time.
This scripture has absolutely nothing to do with the scripture I gave you, showing when Jesus knew he would have to die for us.Georg
