Berean, are you saying that one of God’s angels created God’s other angels?

Because the Bible chapters you listed don’t teach that as far as I know.

Maybe you could point to the exact verses that you think teach us what you’re telling me.

Yahweh is the Creator of everything, including those gods of the other nations.  When Yahweh saw that the gods (Watchers) He appointed over the various nations to teach them the path of righteousness were instead teaching them evil, He built a nation out of Abram that He would rule over directly, instead of by proxy through his delegate gods.  But remember that Israel was just the beginning…

Hi Mike, sorry for the delay in replying your post. I was little busy as my family came to my work place for vacation.

Your statement “Yahweh is the Creator of everything, including those gods of the other nations” is purely the Christian one as this world is having a number of religions and mythologies on gods.

For example I quote few lines from Siri Guru Granth Sahib (A Holy Book of Sikh religion)

“All virtues are Yours, Lord, I have none at all. Without virtue, there is no devotional worship. I bow to the Lord of the World, to His Word, to Brahma the Creator. He is Beautiful, True and Eternally Joyful. What was that time, and what was that moment? What was that day, and what was that date? What was that season, and what was that month, when the Universe was created? The Pandits, the religious scholars, cannot find that time, even if it is written in the Puraanas. That time is not known to the Qazis, who study the Koran. The day and the date are not known to the Yogis, nor is the month or the season. The Creator who created this creation—only He Himself knows. How can we speak of Him? How can we praise Him?…..There are nether worlds beneath nether worlds, and hundreds of thousands of heavenly worlds above. The Vedas say that you can search and search for them all, until you grow weary. The scriptures say that there are 18,000 worlds, but in reality, there is only One Universe.”

So each and every religion has its own claims on God and his creation. We can not make one religion superior over others and its God over others.

Adam:  Your statement “Yahweh is the Creator of everything, including those gods of the other nations” is purely the Christian one as this world is having a number of religions and mythologies on gods.

In which verse(s) of the Christian NT can I learn what I wrote above?

My statement comes from the teachings of the OT – and is supported by many scriptures in the OT.

So please elaborate on, correct, or retract your claim that my statement is “purely the Christian one”.

Hi Mike, sorry I only commented on your statement and not based on any verses. Christianity is based on both OT and NT so you can refer any verses to support your views. I am a skeptic here and treat all religions as same and none is superior in my view.

The us and our is one God who uses the plural to magnify His stature as the one and only Creator, without whom nothing other than God would exist
