Hi David,
Perhaps Jesus needs to become your lord and teacher in place of the watchtower?August 29, 2009 at 7:22 am#142934davidParticipantOh, Nick, you know who Jesus is. Great. I was beginning to wonder, what with your constantly breaking the rules of this forum, and pretty much annoying people by virtually never answering others questions and constantly going off subject. If you were not a moderator, you'd have more of those little boxes than anyone.
If you have no idea what God's kingdom is or how to show what it is using scripture, please go make your “off subject” comments in some other thread.
Thanking you in advance.
Ask T8 to to have a talk with you about forum etiquette for me.

HMMMM.
You should be able to see the kingdom.
But first, perhaps, you will need to repent of man's religion and be reborn from above.October 21, 2009 at 5:58 pm#152606NickHassanParticipantHi BD,
King Jesus will be seated on the throne of David.
Even now he rules his body on earth from the right hand of his Father God.
God was pleased to give him the Kingdom[Dan7] and he is pleased to share the role with his brothers.[Rev20]October 21, 2009 at 6:14 pm#152613bodhithartaParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ Oct. 22 2009,05:58) Hi BD,

You saidQuote King Jesus will be seated on the throne of David. You are right! WILL BE until then he is a Prince and a saviour
October 21, 2009 at 6:16 pm#152615NickHassanParticipantHi BD,
No the king entered Jerusalem on a donkey.
He proclaimed that kingdom and men entered it while he was here.October 21, 2009 at 6:55 pm#152621bodhithartaParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ Oct. 22 2009,06:16) Hi BD,

Jesus said the Jerusalem of that day was not his Kingdom:Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
John 18:35-37Therefore riding on the donkey had nothing to do with Jesus being a current King but instead it showed him as Messiah and future King.
October 21, 2009 at 7:00 pm#152622NickHassanParticipantHi BD,
Neither was he of the world nor are his brothers. His kingdom at that time was no threat to the God appointed authorities.
But when he returns as king of kings all will eventually be subject to the Lord Jesus.

yes kerwin you right the new Jerusalem, the heavenly city, just remember the and in revelation it said scriptures said Jesus is not only King but high priest, has well,
rev21 new things were created and in verse2 it said ,REV 21:1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea.
REV 21:2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her housband.the new jerusalem would or could it be the 144000 redeemed ,the living stones of god s temple ?
October 9, 2011 at 7:57 am#260289davidParticipantThe kingdom, what is it?

it is the will of God ,that as dominion over all of creation.October 12, 2011 at 12:26 am#260519davidParticipantTreraricca, might a “king” be involved with this kingdom?

his that king remains king ? or he is also at the end sub dew voluntary to God ,look at ants how they perform and they do not have a king,
what did that king came and show that we can also learn to do???
Mt 20:25 Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them.
Mt 20:26 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant,
Mt 20:27 and whoever wants to be first must be your slave—
Mt 20:28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”October 12, 2011 at 3:08 am#260537davidParticipantHi Terraricca, yes Jesus showed humility and taught humility. But, in the Bible he is clearly called a king. Do you not think he will act as our king? (It's that humility, along with other traits that would make him a great king, unlike human rulers)
October 12, 2011 at 3:18 am#260538terrariccaParticipantDavid
this is not just a lesson of humility from the part of our King Christ ,it is the rule of love ,
October 12, 2011 at 5:35 am#260545davidParticipantAnd so, back to my question: as king of this kingdom, do you think Jesus will act as our king?

DavidI answer you already ,what are you expecting to do
how do you think he would act ?
did the apostles not learn from him and so did live the same way ?
do you think that because of the title name of King he should use a whip and dominate like men do ??
all who are in the light of Christ acts this way,in this way yes he is my king and teacher
