We all know that the world situation is far from how the Creator God intends it to be.
It seems that He ceased to give revelations about His plans about 2000 years ago. So all we have to give us a clue about our future, is a book written in a seemingly haphazard way, that is now interpreted in a multiplicity of theories and fanciful notions.
But consider this: if you were god, would you want everyone to know your plans? No, so He has made His Prophetic Word to us difficult to understand. Also He is able to place a ‘veil of misunderstanding’ in the minds of those who have believed lies and false teachings. Deut. 29:4, Isaiah 29:9-12
Despite these problems, I believe it IS possible to gain a true understanding of at least the next event we can expect and then, some time later Jesus will Return to earth ‘in the same manner’ as He left, so long ago.
When Jesus commenced His ministry, He quoted Isaiah 61:1-2a. He stopped before: and a Day of the vengeance of our God. It is this, therefore, that we can expect as the next prophesied event. Many prophesies describe this terrible Day, not to be confused with the great Day of the Sovereign Lord, Rev. 16:14, that is: the Return in glory, to come later.
The best description of the Day of the Lord’s wrath, is in Rev. 6:12-17, the Sixth Seal. This event is paralleled and reiterated throughout the Bible, as the Day that God will carry out His judgement of the nations, not individuals; as that doesn’t happen until the end of the Millennium. The Day of the Lord’s vengeance and wrath, is described as; sudden and shocking, affecting all of the world and it is only after it that the confused will gain understanding and the complainers will accept instruction. He left at the Ascension, which was 3 – 4 days pryer to “Pentecost”, and returned
(in spirit form) on “Pentecost”; fulfilling John 14:23 (see also Hebrews 9:28 and Romans 8:11).___________

The beheadings etc lately…..
Don’t get emotional, emotions can deceive people.
Satan will deceive the whole world and gather them for battle.
Don’t get yourself stuck in the past and what has been as we are probably far more forward than you realize.
I believe we are up to the end – that is, Revelations 20.7.Islam does not fit.

Those in Revelations 9:1-11 are tormenting/destroying those who do not have the mark of God. It matches exactly somewhere in the Old Testament where the destroyer is to go through and destroy those who likewise do not have God’s mark. They do not worship idols of stone, etc.
