Hi t8,
Who condemns?
Not us but we warn again not false teachings.
November 15, 2015 at 9:48 pm#804837NickHassanParticipanthi t8,
Should we tolerate what God does not?
November 15, 2015 at 11:01 pm#804840ProclaimerParticipanthi t8,
Why would you defend what God finds offensive?
False teachers have no inheritance.
Seriously, if you believe that Ray Comfort is a false teacher with no inheritance and thus hell-bound, then you of all people should put your hand out to help him Nick. After all this man with no inheritance as you say puts his hand out to people on the street nearly every day and he would do the same for you. Do you love him enough to do something, or will you just leave him to Hell? You can connect with him in his Youtube channel and tell him he has no inheritance and offer him what he needs. Ball is in your court.
November 16, 2015 at 7:09 am#804856NickHassanParticipantHi t8,
Where did our master tell us to reach out to those who offer false teachings?
Our job is to preach the gospel and establish the truth.
The world is not our burden.
November 16, 2015 at 10:22 am#804863kerwinParticipantt8,
If you are a genuine follower of Jesus and you have even one error then you are presumptuous to consider yourself a teacher. It is not something God takes lightly. We would be wise to watch our lives and doctrines.
November 16, 2015 at 11:44 am#804875NickHassanParticipantHi,
You do not pick grapes from thorn bushes.
Unless men are established in Christ the scriptural way they cannot take up roles in the Body.
If they claim to have such a role you can expect them to teach from their own unscriptural ideas and not the Spirit.
November 19, 2015 at 7:03 am#804977NickHassanParticipantHi,
Those who teach that Jesus is God deny that Christ came in the flesh.
November 19, 2015 at 8:55 am#804981kerwinParticipantNick,
I agree because Jesus cannot be both the Anointed of God and God himself.
It is like having two masters either you believe one or the other but not both and if you believe Jesus is not God but claim he is then you are lying.

Seriously guys, fruit is more important than doctrine. We are judged by our fruit and nowhere is it written that only those who have no error in their doctrine are saved. That said, I agree and am often the first to point out the harsher judgement of teachers and the importance of having the doctrine of Christ and not teaching false doctrine.
But to condemn a person who calls himself a brother based on his incomplete understanding of doctrine all the while having the fruit of love by dedicating his life to pull men from the flames to me is something I dare not do lest I myself incur the same strict judgement such as the one being promoted by some here.
If Ray Comfort has more love than you because of his dedication to the lost and his effort to preach the gospel, then you condemn yourself by your own standard. This is why I participate not in your view. I am not better than Ray Comfort. I leave that up to God. I consider him a brother because he believes that Jesus is the son of God and that through Jesus Christ men can be saved and come to God. As mentioned before, I disagree with his view that Jesus is also God and part of the Trinity.
I do not believe that holding the latter view damns your soul.
November 19, 2015 at 2:39 pm#805001kerwinParticipantt8,
I disagree as it is written that heretics will not enter the kingdom of heaven.
Galatians 5:19-21Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
1 Timothy 4:16Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.
We do not know the aggravating and mitigating circumstances of each case but it does not look good if one teach an untruth as the truth.
November 19, 2015 at 2:50 pm#805007NickHassanParticipantHi T8,
So you have found fault in his teachings.
Does that not suggest that he has not walked the right path himself, that he is not an anointed teacher and it is right to warn against his work?
November 19, 2015 at 3:07 pm#805011ProclaimerParticipantI once believed in the Trinity Doctrine because that is what was taught to me. But I know I had salvation because God spoke to me and was with me. My spirit bore witness with God’s spirit. But God showed me the truth because he is true and wants me to be true and perhaps he impressed this upon me as he called me to teach what he has shown me. We are all at different stages of knowing truth and no one can claim to be perfect in their doctrine.
Unlike yourselves, I am not comfortable judging Ray Comfort as a hell-bound deceiver knowing that making such a measurement means you will be judged by that same measurement. It may turn out that you yourself have missed something important, but now you have laid the measurement for yourself to be judged by that standard too.
Scripture says we will know them by their fruit. A good tree produces good fruit and vice versa. With Ray Comfort, I look at his fruit. It seems to be more juicy than those who condemn the man because he like most have fallen for the false doctrine of the Trinity.
God is able to save us despite our imperfections. A deceiver is not a person who makes mistakes. It is a person whose heart is not true and they pretend otherwise.
Your judgement is harsh, but it is your right to be harsh and to lay that as the measurement for yourself.
November 19, 2015 at 3:14 pm#805013NickHassanParticipantHi t8,
False teachers are spoken of in scripture.
If you know better is it right to justify their words?
November 19, 2015 at 4:47 pm#805023kerwinParticipantt8,
In preaching heresy his fruit is of the flesh. I doubt he has the Spirit to begin with so he is unlikely at this point of his life that he will be judged as if he did. God will judge him on that day.
November 19, 2015 at 4:52 pm#805024kerwinParticipantt8,
Paul called those who preached another gospel false brothers. (Galatians 2:4)
I have pointed this out before and I will point it out again that Scripture what is false as true.
November 20, 2015 at 6:41 am#805032NickHassanParticipantHi t8,
You are confident of your salvation because God is with you and speaks to you and His Spirit resonates with yours?
And you are confident that you have been shown the truth so you can teach?
Is that what you are saying.
Is it enough?
November 26, 2015 at 11:34 am#805228ProclaimerParticipantBy your own narrow standards which of you can be saved? Do you not risk condemning yourselves by judging in this manner?
Without love you are nothing and all you do is meaningless, yet who among you is motivated by love in all things? Can you be saved judging by your own standard?
Love reaches out to the lost, it doesn’t attack those who reach out, even if they are not perfect.
I do not judge like you guys where everyone is worng except for yourselves.
And ironically, you argue among yourselves and believe you are right while the other is wrong.
This divisive way reminds me of Babylon on steroids. It is clearly not love and if all a wrong and only you right, then arguing with some who are just like you is perhaps your reward.
Personally I do not believe I have the full truth. I like to test all things and to listen to others even if their track record is not that great.
I pray that God is merciful to myself and to you too.
November 26, 2015 at 12:47 pm#805229NickHassanParticipantHi t8,
May the Lord show you the standards he expects from his servants.
November 26, 2015 at 1:38 pm#805232kerwinParticipantT8,
Technically if a person takes the beam out of their own eye then they are free to take the speck out of the other person’s eye.
God is the judge but he what he states in Scripture is also true.
Comfort claims to be a teacher before he has learned the truth of God; so instead of only sweet water coming out both sweet and follow do.
November 26, 2015 at 2:26 pm#805233NickHassanParticipantHi t8,
Love your neighbour as yourself.
Pulling folks from the fire is love. jude 23
If Comfort wanted help I would give it but he is into teaching, not learning.
