DavidL,
The only one that translated God’s words is the serpent and Eve would have been wise to test the spirit of what he taught.
Hi Kerwin,
By your logic I would suggest that Eve also translated God’s words.
God said…
“thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die” (Gen 2:17)
and Eve said…
“God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.” (Gen 3:3)It would seem that the spirit of Christ was working in her, as she mentions merely touching it.
You might ask “what do you mean?” what I mean is: just like Jesus said (ref. Matt 5:28) “whosoever
looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.” It would seem
that the spirit of Christ in her knew where the line was crossed that would lead to the sin actually being committed.___________
God bless

Are you suggesting Jesus’ spirit somehow fathered himself ( Jesus birthing himself ??? )
Please explain (makes sense) of your logic in regards to this obvious dilemma.
Doesn’t your question remind you of Nicodemus – “How can an old man go back into his mother’s womb and be born again.?”
the dilemma IS your logic…you can’t make sense of it because, God is bigger than logic..
if you are born of the Spirit you will see – truth is not dependent on intellectual understanding.. reasoning only becomes a hindrance – as you yourself are proving..
it is revealed by God’s Spirit, so that no man can boast in his own abilities..

David L,
The bible clearly states that God’s HolySpirit fathered Christ. And
the bible further states that because of this Jesus *IS* the Son of God.
“Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.” (Prov 30:6)New question:
Does Jesus have his own spirit?___________

The trinitarian doctrine does not make sense as it is broken.
March 25, 2015 at 10:09 am#791609kerwinParticipantEd J,
Scripture teaches us the woman was deceived (1 Timothy 2:14).
March 25, 2015 at 10:58 am#791613NickHassanParticipantHi davidl,
You point to you being reborn as to why you promote what is of man.
Does that make sense to you?
March 25, 2015 at 2:46 pm#791640ProclaimerParticipantJesus is God – doesn’t make sense until you’re born again… then you SEE that it is true.
Show us where in scripture when people received the Spirit that they proclaimed that Jesus is God?
If you cannot, then you again are referencing man-made ideas outside of scripture.
Jesus fought off Satan and his temptations with the scriptures DavidL, not with doctrines of men or demons.
You rebuke us with a man-made doctrine and ignore the scriptures we give you.
Worse. you oppose the scripture we give you.
You need help. How did it come to this for you?
When did you stop searching for truth and settle on traditions and doctrines of men?

He believes he should not test the hypothesis that Jesus is God.
March 25, 2015 at 5:06 pm#791646ProclaimerParticipantSad. Many in deception do not test things. They do not test the teachers, the spirits, the doctrines. When challenged from the scriptures, men either cease to be ignorant, or cease to be honest.

you can not afford to approach this topic honestly and I can understand that because your entire sobriety is at risk. you have now simply switched your addictive behavior to be strung out on a lie, you just believe this lie is more productive but as I said elsewhere, you are still the same as you were although you are trying very hard to change you can’t change without being honest.
I pray for you to be honest

Some deceivers teach their disciples not to test their teachings as in testing it you show you lack faith. The trinitarian tenet is so riddled with holes that anyone who seeks the truth and tests it will find it false.
March 26, 2015 at 8:14 am#791693DavidLParticipantSad. Many in deception do not test things.
Many… in deception who do not know how to test false doctrine because they have not the Spirit.
Sad… you condemn me for doing the very thing you say we should do – test the teachings of men (ie. your teaching).
March 26, 2015 at 8:17 am#791696NickHassanParticipantHi davidl,
Indeed you should weep as you have shown yourself incapable of testing the doctrines you teach against the scriptures you claim to love.
March 26, 2015 at 8:18 am#791697NickHassanParticipantHi davidl,
Nobody condemns you.
But we pray God will open your eyes.
March 26, 2015 at 8:29 am#791699DavidLParticipantShow us where in scripture when people received the Spirit that they proclaimed that Jesus is God?
Did John have the Spirit..? “..the Word was God”
Did Thomas have the Spirit..? “..my Lord and my God”
Did Paul have the Spirit..? “..in Him dwells the fullness of God.”
Did Isaiah have the Spirit..? “His name shall be called…Everlasting Father.”
Question is t8 – do YOU have the Spirit…?
..are you led (in your understanding of Scripture) by the Spirit of God – or by your own logical reasoning..?
March 26, 2015 at 8:34 am#791700NickHassanParticipantHi davidl,
Deception by reliance on inference robs you of a relationship with the Father and the Son.
2jn9
” Anyone who goes too far and does not abide in the teaching of Christ does not have God; the one who abides in the teaching , he has both the Father and the Son”
But you prefer service to men?

Do you have this relationship Nick – that is the question..?
or are you just trying to be smart..!
March 26, 2015 at 8:41 am#791706NickHassanParticipantHi davidl,
That is for you to decide.
But get your own feet on the rock first.
March 26, 2015 at 8:49 am#791708DavidLParticipant..it’s not about me deciding – it’s about you knowing..!
March 26, 2015 at 9:02 am#791712NickHassanParticipantHi Davidl,
Tell us of your obedience to the command of God in Jn3
