Post it for us all, jammin.  I didn't post the entire, huge footnote – only the sensible CONCLUSION that these 25 TRINITARIAN scholars came to.

If YOU want to post the rest of it, go ahead.  All it says is that many people want to IMAGINE some trinity hint with these words, but it's basically nothing but their own wishful thinking.  :)

i posted it already . check my old post boy.

many said they are trinitarians but not all have the same knowledge just like the apostles.

true christians know what the bible says.

Dude, you asked for a version that said God was talking to angels in Gen 1:26.  I posted a version from 25 TRINITARIAN scholars that says exactly that.

26 Then God said, “Let us make humankind in our image, after our likeness, so they may rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move on the earth.

where can you read in that verse that God is talking to his angels?

5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?
    6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;

    Put them both together.

I don't want to put those two very different teachings together, 2B.  I want to see where Hermas said the Word was a literal spoken word from God, or where Irenaeus says the Word is the Holy Spirit Son of God.

Unless they BOTH say the SAME THING, one does not support the other.

Mike, just as Jesus was the Son of God, so can we be Sons and Daughters of God, through the Spirit of the Son – the Holy Spirit, in us. I will post some of those verses again for you, as a reminder.

    John 14:26
But the Comforter,  the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

    John 14:17
The Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.

    John 14:18
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

    Galatians 4:6
Because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!”

    1st Corinthians 12.
4Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. 6And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. 7But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. 12For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. 13For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

    2Cor 3:
17Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

    Can you see it yet?
    Bye bye for now.

    Jammin,

For a boy who is lacking in understanding you seem to believe you know much at the same time you show fear of substantial knowledge.

So your claim is that the angels were not shouting for joy when the Elohim told them let us make man in our own image and likeness.

A second of your inferred claims is that humanity is a little lower than Yawheh.

Take your brain off hold and think your responses through as not doing so makes you appear like a jester.

John called Jesus Christ “the Word” in Rev 19:13. Then he said all things were created through “the Word” in John 1:3. Then he went on to describe this “Word” with descriptions that ONLY fit Jesus Christ – and fit him to a T. He also described this same “Word” in 1 John 1:1-4. (I challenged you to find some comparison scriptures to support your theory that “the Word” described in John 1 was “the Holy Spirit Son of God” – but you couldn't. Remember?)

Then we can add in the writer of Hebrews, who said God created the universe through His Son, Jesus Christ. (Heb 1:1-2) And we can add in the writings of Paul, who said all things in heaven and earth were created through Jesus Christ, and that all things came FROM God and THROUGH Jesus Christ. (Col 1:16, 1 Cor 8:6)

So can YOU see it yet?

Well, don't you claim that the Father is God? And don't you claim that the Son is also that same God?

Show me the HEBREW or GREEK ms that tells us God was talking to Himself in Gen 1:26, jammin. I'd even settle for the Hebrew or Greek ms that says “the Father said to the Son, 'Let us make man in our image' “.
