1. You became an atheist when you were 10 years old, based on ideas of God that you learned in Sunday School. Your ideas about God haven't changed since.
2. You think that the primary aim of an omni-benevolent God is for people to have FUN.
3. Although you've memorized a half a dozen proofs that He doesn't exist, you still think you're God's gift to the ignorant masses.
4. You believe the astronomical size of the universe somehow disproves God, as if God needed a tiny universe in order to exist.
5. You spend hours arguing that atheism actually means “without a belief in God ” and not just ” belief that there is no god”, as if this is a meaningful distinction in real life.
6. You can make the existence of pink unicorns the center-piece of a philosophical critique.
7. You're a spoiled fifteen year old boy who lives in the suburbs and you go into a chat room to declare that, “I know there is no God because no loving God would allow anyone to suffer as much as I…hold on. My cell phone's ringing.”
8. You believe that if something cannot be touched, seen, heard, or measured in some way, then it must not exist, yet you fail to see the irony of your calling Christians “narrow-minded”.
9. Your only knowledge of The Bible comes from searching 'bible contradictions' in Google.
10. You believe the movie Dogma gives the most accurate portrayal of Christian theology.

BTW, I don't exist just because there is evidence of design and intellect at the helm of my posts. Na, just a rogue program that is evolving. In fact no one wrote me either. I sort of spawned out of cyberspace.More proof?

And there was I happy to accept that you were actually intelligently designing what you wrote.Well, maybe sometimes intelligently.
Still, if you insist.

March 7, 2011 at 10:23 am#238278ProclaimerParticipantYou are free to believe what you want. You are certainly an example of that. Logic, deduction, cause and effect cannot compete with non-questioning fundamental Atheism. Good arguments, evidence, deduction, and logic appear to be unable to penetrate the barrier of atheistic belief. Truth, light, reason, and logic cannot prevail in your mind because it would shatter your beloved belief system into a million pieces.
So keep strong. Ignore reason and logic. Don't accept deduction. Don't answer questions that threaten your dream world. Believe the impossible and illogical. And don't forget that the best response is to mock the other guy and what he believes. That way the focus is off you and it will make you feel better too. In short, keep the faith no matter what. Otherwise you will lose and have to admit you were wrong. God forbid.

Of the three choices available to us pertaining to how everything came to exist. You deny a creator by bias alone, leaving you 2 choices, either nothing or something eternal and non-living.
When you dissect those 2 options, both an eternal something that is non-living and nothing, you can clearly see that they are impossible and foolish.
Yet you still believe there is no God, therefore the statements in my post still stand. You ignore reason, deduction, and evidence, and prefer to believe the impossible.
You also mock the idea of a creator which is the only option that is viable.
Therefore you are an illogical person who has faith in the impossible. The irony of it all is that many Atheists call Believers narrow minded, and Atheists often think that their opinions are God's gift to the ignorant masses.
What a joke.

A perfect example of your narrow mindedness.I don't need to spell it out, you demonstrate it perfectly.
So don't expect anyone to really take you seriously as you have completely failed to prove your argument because it is based entirely on bias.
And continuing with bias as the best argument shows that you are not a worthy opponent at all.
Could you do me a favour and invite another Atheist here. Someone with at least some idea or clue as to why he believes as he does.
So far I am yet to meet an Atheist who can debate at any reasonable level.
