    Hi sscott,

    Rev 4
” 5And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.”
Seven is the number of perfection is it not?
Oil and light speak of the Holy Spirit.
Lamps burn oil and candlesticks represent churches as in Rev 1
Perhaps the Spirit of God as He manifests in the seven churches of Revelation?

    Hi sscott

The Archangels, that God has given power over has creation.

    Even Christ as Michael

Hbr 1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

And therefore has he come for you when these things are fulfilled within you in the life that has been given for your salvation.

See Book of Enoch for reference on the duties of the Arch-Angels.

Its Good Comparing the bible scriptures for help.

    Hi Charity,
    Michael serves Christ
He argued with Satan over the body of Moses.
    Christ has defeated Satan.
    No argument required.

    Hi Nick

Twelve stars chosen, over from the twelve tribs

Rev 21:14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

2Th 1:7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,

1Ti 3:15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

Any movment for change on this Nick

Hbr 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Rom 14:9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

I think Christ shall be in charge of Moses body even

Depends on this is the Angel on board?

Angels made flesh, flesh as angels

John the Baptist as Elijah sent forth as Christ’s Angle before him.

    Beheaded put to death

A resurrection of the dead, many come out of the graves, including John the Baptist even?

I say Did Christ’s Angel write revelations?

How then if he is incorruptible do men still walk over his grave?

    Hi W,
Hebrews makes it very plain Christ was not an angel.
Neither does it say any man including John was ever an angel.
    Angels are messengers.
    Men can be messengers.
But that does not make men angels.

Angels can serve God or the god of this world.
    So can and do men.
That does not make men angels.

    Angels are of heaven.
Only the man from heaven is of heaven.

sscott> i believe the seven spirits compose God. the word God is a unipural word in the Hebrew .i think it's like if we say the body of christ it is one body but composed of many members and we ourselves are one person but are composed of many parts i.e., hands, legs, feet, ect. but still onr person so in the same sense we are also uniplural beings. i believe when God said let us make man, he was refering to the Seven Spirits which goes out into all the creation and performs God's will. and the sevenspirits compose God.just my take that's all, no proof.

    Hi sscott:

The following may be the seven spirits:

    Isaiah 11
    11:1
And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
    11:2
    And the SPIRIT OF THE LORD shall rest upon him, THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM and UNDERSTANDING, the SPIRIT OF COUNSEL AND MIGHT, THE SPIRIT OF KNOWLEDGE and OF THE FEAR OF THE LORD;
    11:3
And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:

I agree with much of what Nick says here. This is a highly symbolic book, the number seven denoting divinely determined completeness, would indicate a fullness of operation of God’s holy spirit, as it brings understanding and blessing to all who pay attention to the prophecy.

Later, John describes them also as “seven eyes,” indicating the penetrating vision that God’s holy spirit bestows on Jesus. (Revelation 5:6) Thus, he is able to uncover and handle any situation that may exist. (Matthew 10:26; 1 Corinthians 4:5)

It appears that these seven spirits symbolize the full active capacity of observation, discernment, or detection of the Lamb of God, enabling him to inspect all the earth.

    Hi david,
They could be angels of God too.
    Angels are ministering spirits.

    Hi WJ,
    You said in another thread.
“The seven Spirits of God are the eyes of Yeshua.”

    Revelation 3:1
And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.

It seems that the spirits are under the authority of Jesus but are they his eyes?

Not certain, but the Seven Spirits might be:

    Enoch 61:9-11
Then shall they all with one voice speak and bless,
And glorify and extol and sanctify the name of the Lord of Spirits.

10 And He will summon all the host of the heavens, and all the holy ones above, and the host of God, the Cherubic, Seraphin and Ophannin, and all the angels of power, and all the angels of principalities, and the Elect One, and the other powers on the earth (and) over the water On that day shall raise one voice, and bless and glorify and exalt in the
    1) spirit of faith,
    2) and in the spirit of wisdom,
    3) and in the spirit of patience,
    4) and in the spirit of mercy,
    5) and in the spirit of judgement
    6) and of peace,
    7) and in the spirit of goodness,

    NH

I didn't say it, the scriptures say it.

And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and **seven eyes**, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. Rev 5:6

Horns are a symbol of authority, so yes it agrees that they are his eyes!

The Spirits of God are the eyes of Yeshua. WOW.

And men want to call him a mere man!  :D

    Hi WJ,
Jesus the man walked the earth as hungry and tired as we become.
Jesus now is the head of the seven churches of revelation.
All done within his body is known to him.

    Hi brother Hanoch,
Here is another verse on Seven Spirits of God which will rest on Yashua the Messiah.

    Is 11:1-5

1 But a shoot shall sprout from the stump of Jesse, and from his roots a bud shall blossom.

2 The spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him: a spirit of wisdom and of understanding, A spirit of counsel and of strength, a spirit of knowledge and of fear of the LORD,

3 and his delight shall be the fear of the LORD. Not by appearance shall he judge, nor by hearsay shall he decide,
4 But he shall judge the poor with justice, and decide aright for the land's afflicted. He shall strike the ruthless with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips he shall slay the wicked.
5 Justice shall be the band around his waist, and faithfulness a belt upon his hips.

    Peace to you
    Adam

To All ……….Spirits are intellects and the seven Spirits of God are seven intellect of God and they are (NOW) in Jesus , but remember He himself is pictured as dead (a slain lamb) that is significant to know, These Spirits can eventually be in us also, all who are called and chosen have some in them now. (The Spirit of truth). is one. When we come to the (FULL MEASURE OF CHRIST) we will have all seven in us also. Then will be brought about the saying God in ALL and through ALL.

    Peace and love to all…………gene

    Hi GB,
Any luck with finding that verse about spirits being intellects?
If not surely you would not encourage folk to just believe you?

    Hi GB,
    Intellect is about thinking.
Is God limited to just giving us seven thinking abilities through His Spirit?

The Spirit of God we know is not just of knowledge but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

    Romans 15:19
Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

    2 Timothy 1:7
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

The Spirit of God in us is ONE, not one of many.

    1 Corinthians 6:17
But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
    1 Corinthians 12:13
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
    1 Corinthians 12:8
    For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
